As an excellent product virtually does away with the conventional spirit level as it is far more accurate. Indoors the laser is perfectly visible as long as it is not being used somewhere very very bright. However, you can see from the pics that it performs well even on a sunny day as the distance is around 3 meters. The clamp works ok and I haven't had problems with it yet. The laser runs on small batteries so this will be why you don't get top of the range professional level performance. I have had a few hours of on/off use on the original batteries and it's still going! The self-levelling function works quickly. Highly recommended!

Great price and reviews online. Toyed with the idea of a professional more expensive model but am extremely happy with this choice. 3 modes, vertical, horizontal and cross. Also switches from automatic levelling to switched manual. Easy to see but much clearer without direct sunlight. Good home diy investment

Fantastic! Excellent quality, does the job perfectly. The bracket is very good as well and has a rotating fixing which is better than my much more expensive and similar laser level. I also bought the green laser version which has slightly worse accuracy, but better outside in strong sunlight. Highly recommended!!!

Excellent. Don't know how I managed all these years without one. My only reservation of that you can't tilt the level back to protect higher up the wall so you have to put it exactly at the height you need, which can be tricky if there is no suitable metal surface nearby to attach the magnet to. But for the price it is fab.

Cheap and cheerful but seems to do a good job. Beam not so obvious in bright daylight, but good in doors or wait until evening if using outdoors.

I have used this for real to level a screed floor. I also used it to put a load of electric sockets around the wall all at the same level.It worked very well.It also has a case and a strong magnetic bracket - along with a mount for a tripod.Really easy and clear to use and the right price.I would recommend it. This is a really good laser level.

Straight out of the box this laser level worked just fine. The ability to switch between vertical or horizontal beams is useful - eg I used it to mark the position of the studs when putting screws in putting up plasterboard (without need to pencil the line).
