Chinese Learning Touch and Talk Kit (LOYO pen and My First Words 8books) with Sample Record-able Stickers

It's hard to find Chinese teaching tools for a 2 year old that are fun but don't involve watching a dvd or tv program, as I am not keen on a toddler being exposed to media devices and getting addicted to watching tv, even if it's for educational purposes. So I took a chance purchasing this, as it is not a cheap set, and am glad I did. Although my daughter is too young to use the LoYo pen device, I hold it for her and use it to read the Chinese books. The pictures are big and enunciation from the pen is pretty accurate and clear to me. I speak Chinese fluently, but have the vocabulary level of a 5 yr old and can not read much Chinese. So both my daughter and I are learning at the same time. There are games to play through the pen, but are a bit advanced for a 2 year old. I haven't tried recording my own book readings onto it , with the stickers, nor tried any of the downloading features yet.I am satisfied with this purchase as it will be useful for years to come.

Big help in learning Mandarin, especially like the sound stickers. Although designed for children would love to see books with content with everyday phrases for older children.
