My first model boat for 56 years (the last one was the Canberra). I found it quite challenging and allowed me to hone my dexterity and intuition before moving on to more complex models. Although the plans show the configuration and colour scheme, not everything is outlined, leaving the builder to work through some of the intricacies and build schedule to achieve the construction. I found some of the laser cut wood components were incorrect dimentions, so had to improvise. Being a newby I had to figure out how to assemble some of the parts in the best way to make a neat finish. Well worth the time and effort. Recommended for a beginner
