Good vacuum for the price.
Descent vacuum for the price. I use it at work almost every day. Just like any other vacuum that has a filter if you notice loss of suction just pop it out and knock the dust out reinstall and back to business. I have a pretty heavy duty tool bag that I keep all the Attachments and vacuum in. It's very compact in size making it easy to bring in a customers home instead of my shopvac. Canister is easy to wipe can fit your hand in and clean. As far as the battery life on the unit if you run it on a fully charged battery you can a at least 30 min out of it just keep in mind as your battery life goes down so will suction power.

Easy to use and fits in tight spaces you can’t get your normal vacuum in!
I’ve only used it once so far so I might be back here changing this after I’ve used it more….but so far I’m impressed!! Put it this way, it wow’d me enough to make me go leave a review and I buy things from Amazon daily that I never write reviews for, so that speaks volumes! It works well, has good suction, is lightweight and, best of all, you’re able to get it under and in between places that your normal Dyson stick vac won’t fit which makes it extra handy around the house! I honestly didn’t expect the little vacuum head attachment to work as well as it does. The only thing I foresee possibly being annoying is that the attachment tubes don’t have any type of locking system to keep them connected together so they could possibly come apart if you don’t snuggly fit them together well enough, but that’s not a big deal if it doesn’t happen regularly. Otherwise 5 stars and highly recommend, for the value especially.

Know what you're buying. Make no assumptions.
Firstly, in response to most of the "problems" in other posts.1. This is for "DeWalt 20V MAX" batteries, not for older models. If your DeWalt has these batteries, you should be good.2. Now this is only a guess as I had no issues with power cutting out, but most items that are meant to run at a certain RPM and not variable speed, will have problems running on a power source that can't reach optimal output. So my guess is that the reviews stating that the unit cuts out after only a couple seconds on a full charge are likely dealing with old worn out batteries or an off brand battery that in some way does not sustain proper voltage/amps. Again, just a guess as my 5Ah battery powered it with no issues for 6 full flights of stairs.3. Some have stated that the clasp mech for the waste container breaks easily. I can understand where this might be true as I had problems getting it to line up correctly and each time I was worried I didn't have it lined up right and would break it. So far this has not happened, but I can see how it might if you're not extremely careful. That's the reason it only gets 4 stars because not only is is difficult to attach the collection bin, it feels like you might break it in doing so.4. Some have stated that the filter clogs too easily.... well ya... it's a paper filter. They always do that, that's just the way these things work. You need to do a little PM (preventative maintenance) to keep them working. Get yourself a wooden handled bench brush for this reason. You empty the chamber, brush the filter free of large debris, then tape the plastic surface of the filter with the back of the brush. Not too hard, but firmly, you will be amazed at how much more dust comes out of the filter after you thought it was clean. Everything with this type of filter needs this kind of care or it will stop working. Now the actual review. As I stated, I used this on 6 flights of stairs and the battery (official DeWalt brand 5Ah) was still working fine. I'd say it was easily over 20 minutes of constant use.The suction is quite impressive for such a light handheld. I was using the swivel floor attachment and it was pulling hair and dirt in from at least 5 inches away and even after the collection bin was full and the dust and hair was no longer circling inside, it had plenty of suction. So far I'm pleasantly surprised by how well it works for what I need. If in the future the clasp breaks, I will update my review.

Nice little vac for the price
Nice little vac as compared to the DeWalt. I have both. Yes, the DeWalt is better built but fur $100 less this unit isn't bad!As for the wands falling off/out I fixed that by scuffing up the ends with some green scotch Brite. They still will fall out but nowhere near as often.

Great pick up power
This has great suction. Light weight to use. I can easily get under my sectional couch which had been an issue with any other portable sweeper. Good quality without the high sticker price. Just turn it on and go! The cordless feature makes it easy to use anywhere from house to car to camper. Plan on buying a 2nd to keep in the camper. Only thing we don't like is it uses up batter power pretty quickly so not ideal for household use but great for car, boat, and camper.

So far… great!
For its size, it is quite powerful! Some people complain. It’s too loud, for its size and power, what do you expect when I clean out my car or Shop, noise is the least of my concerns and I care on how well it will vacuum up debris.I do like it well enough that I bought a second one for a birthday present for my son!I like that I can order new filters, since they are the same filter that fits the DeWalt vacuum that looks exactly the same. Perfect fit!.. Battery life is going to depend on the amperage of the Dewalt battery you use it with it and how old the battery is. I’ve only had it for a few weeks and have had no problems, but will update my review later as far as longevity of product.

Great for just about anything but carpet, but can't get filters (Makita version)
Has great suction but really isn't for carpet without a motorized brush head. Does a great job on most anything else and runs a long time on a 3 AH battery or bigger. I'll get a couple spare filters to keep a backup when it needs to be washed. The extension tubes and other accessories are a little cheap but workable.Update: I had rated this as 4 stars only because the accessories are somewhat cheaply made, but dropping to 3 stars because I can't seem to find filters. The different versions look the same except for the brand of battery they're meant to use, but they are not. Twice I've tried to get filters and despite the description, I ended up filters that don't fit the Makita version of this vacuum. $20 down the drain and I'm stuck with washing the original filter and waiting for it to dry. For that reason, I cannot recommend this vacuum.
