EAG Stubby Front Bumper with Winch Plate Steel Black Textured Fit for 87-06 Wrangler TJ YJ

I have the stubby version for both of my jeeps, simple to install. I ran a tap thru the bolt holes to chase the threads for easy install. I replaced the torx bolts with grade 8 hex bolts. I used 1/2-13x 1 3/4” and added flat and split lock washers. Fits perfect. Put a little anti seize on the bolts or white lithium if you ever have to remove it. Overall I love the look and my winch on my other jeep bolted right to it. You really can’t beat the price.

I'd been doing a great deal of research when I came across this EAG bumper. It is everything I was wanting in a stubby bumper for my old TJ. It seems to be very well made, heavy gauge construction, great welds, and a great crinkle finish. Install was quick and easy! I've become a big fan of EAG and will definitely be adding their rear bumper and tire carrier!

I have owned Jeeps since 1986 and have always performed my own modifications. I recently added this bumper and a winch to my 1991 Jeep Wrangler YJ. Great addition. The bumper was reasonably priced by comparison to others, it is high quality, looks great, and was easy to instal. Very happy with this product. I went ahead and got a matching rear bumper with trailer hitch and this too was a great value and easy to instal.

Decent bumper. Will fit a YJ with a little trimming. Part that irritates me the most is had absolutely no hardware in the box. The $150 rear ebay bumper at least came with bolts.

Pretty easy install just the screws that were there originally were a pain in the butt to get off but we were able to get them off and I honestly didn't know we had to reuse the same ones as I was missing a couple of the screws but I went ahead and found them but so far the Jeep looks pretty good looks pretty sturdy to me we'll see how long it lasts.

Good bumper for the money…bolts right up to factory holes easy enough (be sure to use provided spacers on top mounts). Winch mount plate is definitely sturdy enough for a 8000-9500# winch, not sure I’d trust it on anything bigger. If looks and a sturdy winch mount is what you’re after for your TJ w/o spending more than $600 all in, get this bumper with Rough Country’s 9500# synthetic rope winch (~$350)…great value!

This is a great looking bumper! It's very sturdy and for the price we were pleasantly suprised with the overall quality. I usually refer to my husband's Jeep as Big Red. With the addition of this bumper, I now call it Big Sexy! Bonus...it arrived earlier than expected!
