The tape supplied with the resin jewellery kit is absolute trash, high adhesion and very thick - so much so that I use that for attaching items to the wall!! This tape is very different, easy to work with and a huge amount on the roll. adhesion is enough to hold the item and prevent most leaks, but easily removable afterwards without damaging what you have made. Does exactly what it is intended for and will be buying again. Watch out for cheaper "alternatives", stick with the name you can trust. I learnt the hard way!

I used the tape to keep the profile of a piece of shaped plastic that covered the drive belt for on a ride on lawnmower cutting deck which had become damaged and had a hole through it.With the tape in place on the inside surface, I cut some glassfibre matting to fit in the hole, mixed some resin and hardener and applied it with a credit card sized piece of plastic that I cut from a yoghurt pot.The resin set solid in about 15 minutes and when I pulled the tape off from the inside, the glassfibre and resin plug had filled the gap perfectly - good as new and as the internal profile was the same as the original, so the grass clippings won't build up around the repair site.Without the tape being in place, the resin I poured in would just have leaked through and made a mess, or at best, the repair would have protruded through the cover and caused grass to build up as it would have caught some clippings.This is top quality tape and I've actively identified more jobs around the house to use it and save some money by repairing things I'd otherwise be throwing away. This tape makes my repairs look a lot more professional and I am really pleased with it.I did a full apprenticeship in motor craft engineering forty years ago and am now a Chartered Engineer. I give this tape my highest possible recommendation.

Works as intended

East to use. Good size. My epoxy resin was easy to remove. To be honest i never tried to clean it of cos always get of the resin easily. Good quality.

Expensive compared to generic but needed it right there and then so can’t complain, works perfect

The idea seems fine but it just isn’t sticky enough to stay in place. It’s not cheap either. As someone else said, cheap parcel tape does a much better job.
