I needed to be able to work securely on a touch screen enabled device in meetings, workshops and on public transport. I also needed sharing screen capability. Opposing positions.This device is good at; reducing glare, reflections and removing/fitting.However, there are opportunities to improve; reducing the viewing angles in the horizontal plane, durability when using touch screen pens and introducing vertical plane viewing angles to prevent shoulder surfers.Its a lot of £ for what it is, no doubt leveraging the lack of competition but it is cheaper than twiddling your thumbs as a frequent public transport user.

I wanted a privacy filter that did not attach permanently to the screen, the Beslif magnetic filter meets these requirements well.The good: it attaches firmly and has cut outs for the speakers. There's little chance of it falling off and the Surface seems to sleep correctly when the keyboard is closed. There is good privacy from either side, anything from 45 degrees is fuzzy, from the side the screen is a dark grey.Things to consider: the keyboard (type cover) has a feature where it will sit at a slight angle, rather than flat, which works by magnetically attaching to the screen. This still works with the magnetic filter attached, but the magnetic connection is not as strong. The magnetic frame of the filter is some type of foam material, unlike some thick plastic filters this needs some protection in a rucksack. Touch sensitivity is reduced but still usable. The screen does not appear quite as bright, partly because the light sensor is not covered by the filter. The brightness can easily be turned up to compensate if required. There is less privacy in the vertical direction, should this be a concern.Overall I would recommend this to anybody who wants a removable filter.

Not great. The filter does work as a privacy screen however it does have a number of side effects1. The magnetic fitting of the privacy screen interferes with the Surface Pro recognising that the keyboard is attached2. Battery life is seriously impacted because, I think, similar to above the Surface Pro doesn’t recognise when the keyboard is closed and therefore doesn’t go to sleep.3. The screen interferes with the pen. Sometimes it works sometimes not. This is fixed by either removing the privacy screen or moving it around a little.4. Touchscreen is impacted by the privacy screen and sometimes caused the Surface Pro to freeze.I wouldn’t recommend it for a Surface Pro 5 users.

I like this screen, its deliver the privacy promise and easily transferable between devices. However, the downside is screen intended to slide around and touchscreen not working. But this is manageable as fixture is removable.

Although you now have three surfaces that collect dust (the screen, and both sides of the filter) the filter is well worth the purchase. It does a good job of cutting glare and providing privacy and it conviniently can be removed and replaced as needed.

The anti glare seems good but it was very expensive. I do like the fact that it's magnetic. I have a pro 6

Reviews here are mixed, but it works perfectly on mine and doesn't comprise the touch screen too much or the magnetic slanting of the keyboard. Really happy with it. Perfectly for working on plane or train.
