This stuff actually works! I worked a 12 hour shift without deodorant and i think i smelled great. No BO for 12 hours! It can be a little drying on the skin but well worth it to me.

These stones work fantastically. The only thing I've done before that compares is when I used rubbing alcohol, and I'd imagine for the same reason. Honestly, I think they work better than the rubbing alcohol. My only complaint is they aren't an antiperspirant, but I knew that going in.

I saw an enticing ad about how people in ancient times eliminated body odor by rubbing these on their otherwise smelly body parts. Alum crystals. Sounded great.After ordering a couple of options on Amazon, I reflected on the big health campaign to get rid of aluminum pots and pans because of the increased risk of Alzheimers for those who eat food cooked from them. Alum = aluminum?Yep. Apparently this stuff "crosses the blood-brain barrier" and causes brain damage over the years. idk. I'm keeping the package as a reminder to think a little more before springing for a "new idea." Maybe it's just fine. But I'm not taking the chance.

Mine arrived broken, which made it difficult to use. Not sure if it was a fault in the packaging or transportation. That said, the product was effective, even in tiny shards.
