Very nice headset, well designed
I purchased several sets for use at work in my various labs. They are quite handy for fine wire soldering, small parts assemblies and the like. Everyone on my team likes them. The LED mount has two power settings and can be tilted to stay focused on your work area. The optical clarity is fine for something like this. Not as good as you would get from high quality ground glass or quartz lenses but this set only costs $30, not hundreds of dollars. I rarely use them at greater than 5X, usually 2 or 2.5X magnification, but I have worked at 7X once or twice. As the magnification increases the focal point decreases, meaning the work must be closer to your face. This is basic physics but can make working at very high mag cumbersome. There is a small amount of focus adjustment; the lenses ride on a cogged rail that cam move ~3/4". The lenses store in a plastic tray and as long as you are careful when handling them they should last for years. They are so popular at work I've been asked to order a few more sets. I even bought a set for my wife and I to use for arts/crafts at home!

Great value for the money.
This product is exactly as described and very well made. The parts aren't flimsy. The band itself has a very nice cushion that is quite comfortable. The lenses come in a plastic box with their own microfiber towel. I found attaching and removing them easy and quick. Three AA batteries are included in the box for the lights. I do like having 3 lights on the bar instead of just one. There are 3 adjustments you can make to the lights; the bar can be pushed in on one side or the other, the box can be moved up or down, and the on/off button cycles through on/regular/bright/off. Because I had so much trouble with my other headband, the lock on the back adjuster is my favorite feature. It's easy to use and it actually works. No more continuous adjustments. I found this to be an overall great product and definitely recommend it.

Decent and Affordable Magnifying Headset
I've tried several types of magnifying glasses in or around this price range. So far, this one is the best. Unlike the others, this type has a flip up visor, so you don't need to take them off when you want to see without them. The LED has two settings. Combined with a desk lamp, the brightest setting still makes a notable difference. I typically use two lenses when working on tiny objects: 3.5X + 1X. Higher magnifications are possible, however, the greater the magnification, the closer you need to bring the object to your face. The flip-down eye loupe, for instance, works fine, but it's for monocular viewing only. Lots of options here. Also, comfortable enough, adjustable, and it won't break the bank.

Couldn't Ask for Better
I was a little hesitant about ordering these, even with the good reviews, wondering how well they would work and hold up at this price point. Well, I'm very pleased. The headband adjusts easily and stays where you put it without slipping around on your head or loosening. I really like having 2 lenses in place at the same time. I have the 150 closest to my eyes which enlarges things nicely but has a great range for general purpose. Then when I really need to zoom in, it's easy to just flip down the 250 and really zoom in for detail. Lenses are very clear and sharp with no distortion like you get with a magnifying glass or other headbands. I even find the light to be useful, although twice the light would be better, lol. This unit works better and is more versatile than other, more expensive ones I've had in the past.

PERFECT!
We were first trying to find a stand magnifier to help me see my sewing projects. However, after considering the size and bulkiness of them, I really didn't like the idea of a stand going in my nice sewing room taking up space, or even a table-mounted type, as I would lose my precious space that I use for sewing. So, we came across this head-mounted magnifier - with skepticism, we purchased it, in lieu of the few poor reviews. We were nicely surprised at the quality and comfort, as well as the LED light...it gave me sewing visibility and light at the same time. With it mounted and moving with my head, it gave me full-range visibility and not just a small window that a stand or desk type would provide. Overall, I definitely recommend this product. Contrary to the negative reviews, the quality seems really great and the multiple lenses allow me to select the one that is appropriate for the distance I am from my work, along with the required magnification I need.

The best I've tried!
Love my new geek goggles! As I get older it's gotten more difficult to see details when soldering. Gone are the days I can read the part number off a grain of sand sized component on a circuit board without a little help. Recently I have had two cheap headset magnifiers. One headband and one eye-glass type. The headband was too loose all the time and uncomfortable. The eyeglass pair had an LED light and worked OK but the lenses fell off super easy so I had to glue one on. Later one of the arms busted off so I glued it... then it busted off right next to where I glued it so I glued it more and added supports... but it broke again. So, I tried this larger head mount. Love it! It's way more comfortable than the others I've tried and has plenty of easy to use adjustments. I can get it to fix comfortably and tight on my HUGE head (I can never find a hat that fits) It has double lenses so I put a low power magnifier that I use most of the time and that makes it easier to see a larger work area. Then I can flip down the 2nd lens if I need a close look at something. And if I have to go crazy I can flip down the 3rd little magnifier ring for the right eye. The entire eye piece can flip up and out of the way without taking it off my head. The LED has a single button OFF - LOW - HIGH - OFF. I wish it just had OFF-HIGH. I don't need to conserve battery for a low power LED and that makes it harder to turn on and off. I also wish the LED had a built in auto-shut off timer of say 20 minutes. I haven't forgotten to turn this one off YET but I used to constantly forget to turn off my eye-glass style headset and kill the batteries.
