Sony Ericsson HPM-77 Stereo Personal Handsfree

These earphones are absolutely perfect. They are excellent for listening to all types of music. The low price is great too. I would say these earphones are unbeatable - much, much, much, much better than Apple earphones for example (I cannot stress this enough!), or any other earphones I have ever tried. Even better than the older sony ericsson models. They are in ear, making them excellent at blocking out external noises, and the bass is brilliant. These earphones are a must-buy if you are looking for a replacement pair for your sony ericsson phone. They remain 'glued' into your ears and do not fall off. The sound quality is absolutely unbeatable - the bass comes through very thick and heavy, whilst the other components remain crisp and clear. It strikes the perfect balance for any type of music, or even for listening to podcasts or the radio or things like that. This item deserves a hundred stars.

When the HPM-77 eventually arrived (I received a video battery instead of the headphones and by the way I'm still waiting for the promised returns envelope from the Seller to send the battery back) it was in a plastic bag inside a jiffy bag. No SONY corporate boxing/packaging so I assume this is not a genuine Sony product. It seems to work well though and the build quality is good. Audio quality also good. A separate note about the review process: when I previewed my review it says that the review was FROM Sony Ericsson, which of course is slightly confusing although my name is also clearly shown; this cannot be edited.

Quick delivery, and great sound with adequate noise cancellation. They fit nicely and comfortably in my ear and it comes with smaller buds for smaller ears. The clip stops the earphones from being yanked down while I'm walking. These earphones didn't come in original Sony Ericsson packaging, but there is not a problem with sound quality and the price is really good, so it's definitely worth buying.

As other reviews have said, the build quality leaves a lot to be desired, but ONLY IF YOU BUY CHEAP COPIES from 3rd party sellers (they'll arrive unboxed in a plastic bag). I made that mistake first time, and the sound started to cut out in one of the earphones after a few months. *Updated Aug 2012* I've since replaced the cheap fakes with a set bought direct from Amazon. What a difference, the sound quality is much better (durability has yet to be tested), and surprise, surprise, they come fully boxed, with a case to keep them in.

i bought these to replace my first pair of walkman earphones which finally gave up after 2 years of use, and i'm pleased with the turn out. These are great little earphones which fit nicely into your ear and although sony claim they will never fall out, they do......alot. They are mostly better when sitting still or walking slow. Although they have a clip to attatch them to your t-shirt or that, they do tend to slip away. The sound achieved by them is good, good bass depending on song choice and good volume levels. They can be awkward for phone calls as you hear a bit of an echo but its tolerable, overall good price for the quality of sound and comfort......when they stay in your ears.

I purchased these worrying about what others thought but I can now say that this is a must get for the price. Couldn't get anything better for the price. I can honestly say that I prefer these over the beats on tour. The beats have too much bass and noise and no control. These got bass and it is very clear and crisp. It doesn't have choppy noise unless you are playing a low quality audio file. Great product by Sony :)

Don't get me wrong, the audio quality is fantastic, but the build quality is absolutely shocking! I bought this a year ago, and within 2 weeks it was broken. I thought maybe it was just bad luck, so I bought another set, and they broke just as quickly! Not worth a single penny at all.

These headphones are almost certainly fake. They arrived with no packaging other than a brown envelope. There was no dispatch note. The connector doesn't work in the phone socket - the only way I got them to work at all was to use my existing connecting piece and plug the headphones into that. Within a day the Sony Ericsson brand symbol had fallen off the end of one of the ear pieces. The silvery-blue paint is not as good quality as that of the originals. I'm on my third set of these HPM-77 earbuds\headphones from Sony, having ordered it twice from the The OEM shop. Through faults of my own, I've destroyed the first two and have learn to give great consideration to the cord-- the entire cord (between the earbuds and the jack to the phone, which in my case, I own a W518a Sony Ericsson). Don't let it drag on concrete and be mindful of dancing with it, as you may make a move and rip one earbud from its connection point on the cord. As fragile as the HPM-77 may be, it best coorinates with my phone in terms of style and design, so this is the primary reason I have purchased it 3 times thus far. If this third purchase turns out to be a charm, then I'm sure I won't destroy the cord this time. Still, for the money, these earbuds also provide excellent sound quality. Highly recommended-- until Sony makes a wireless set that is to my liking in terms of function and design.

Hola, el sonido de los auriculares y su sujeción (con gomas de varios tamaños) es bueno, pero si los cables rozan con la ropa o reciben continuos golpes (corriendo, por ejemplo) ese sonido se amplifica y es muy molesto. Los auriculares y el micrófono NO conectan al teléfono directamente, sino a un adaptador típico de 3.5, y este sí que conecta al teléfono. Positivo porque así los auriculares se pueden conectar a una conexión típica (ordenador, walkman, cadena de sonido, tren...) o si se estropean se pueden utilizar otros (en este caso el micrófono se perdería). También se entrega con una caja para guardarlos, aunque debido a su tamaño es poco útil. Saludos.

Je viens de recevoir mon HPM-77 et je ne regrette absolument pas mon achat. Contrairement aux autres casques il tiens bien dans les oreilles et il a un très bon rendu de basse, En plus il est livré avec une belle boite de rangement pour l'emmener partout avec vous. C'est un très bon rapport qualité/prix.
