35 Live Bait Container, Clear

This is perfect to take kayaking!!!

It was out of curiosity that I made this purchase. The idea is something great- a step in the right direction and a way to make it easier and more convenient for the modern fisherman to “bait up” in the field. It also bears that “cool factor” most fisherman I know are looking for in their kit. I’m happy to have added it to mine. However, I notice a few things about it that spoil this nifty idea. From the moment you first hold it in your hands you realize how careful you’ll be not to drop it. It’s fairly sturdy but I’m not confident this wouldn’t be utterly useless after one good smack against a rock- It’s already a bit leaky around the seals which isn’t ideal for a bait carrier. The bait basket will occasionally get stuck and you’ll need to regularly change the water if you’re carrying minnows. I like this product and I hope in time the design will continue to improve.

This bait container works perfect when hubby and I fish from our kayaks. He keeps most of the minnows in his larger minnow bucket & I then add mine to this handy bait container. Makes getting them out very easy with the internal “basket” that brings the minnows to the top when ready to bait my hook.

Works if you want to bring live minnows with I a kayak. Which is how I use this. Live bait with limited space.

Just what I ordered

The gaskets on both caps were very poorly applied (crooked with sticky glue EVERYWHERE).I tried it out but quickly leaked, as others have also mentioned in reviews. Returning and looking at other bait carrying options.

Got to use mine last weekend! It's pretty useful if you like moving around while fishing, I got mine because I wanted to fish from my jetski and it works great! Highly recommend
