Kinda heavy. The edges on are little sharp need some finishing to avoid cuts. Other than that serves it purpose.

Easy to use and does the job it was intended to do. Built out of aluminum, which I prefer over plastic found on other systems, as it is more durable. I have one mounted on a board at home, which I like, but the case is also handy for the one I carry for jobs away from the house. Comes ready to use, but you need to purchase appropriate screws.

I really wanted to like this jig, everything is made from aluminum and feels solid. However, the drill guide bushing are not hardened. After less than a dozen holes, the jig was ruined. The bushings were completely worn out into an oval shape from the drill bit. This allowed the drill bit to wander and stared to cut into the side of the jig and produced bad pocket holes in the wood. Save your money and buy from a more reputable company. ( You can see in the picture how badly the drill bit had started to damage the jig.)

If you decided to start using pocket holes as a beginner, you need to buy this. Do not buy the standalone small kits, you need a clamp. This kit makes it so much easier. Take my word for it. Before I had this kit, I think I spent 2 hours drilling about 48 holes to build a cabinet. After I bought this kit, it took me about 35 minutes to do the same amount of holes on a different cabinet and it was much cleaner. 10/10, would buy again

This is a good, sturdy piece of kit with easy to understand instructions. Very good value for the money. It comes complete with bits and bit-stops, so all you need is a good drill. I screwed mine to a piece of 3/4 inch ply (about A3 size) for stability. I never got past having to tidy up the screw holes with a Stanley knife and sandpaper, but they cleaned up well. I made a whole series of bookcases and am very pleased with them. Sturdy joints, and with careful placement no screw holes visible.
