great tray for keeping the ravioli shape of your pasta
i love this ravioli tray easy to use and holds a nice amount of ravioli pasta ,comes with its own little roller which has exact width measurement when using to roll bottom layer of pasta into tray and again over the top of your of stuffing making your lid the roller is so exact it helps the moistened pasta edges stick and seal tight ,you get great ravioli shapes,,,,i bought 2 ,,,,i highly recommend this tray and roller and the seller and delivery 👌

"Exploring" for other patterns from the same maker - great product!
It's a sturdy, well made, easy to clean and store piece of equipment.Being absolutely idiot-proof, the raviolis are looking stunning even if you use the tray and pin for the first time. I'll buy other models too.

It is easy to use when you know how
Sadly, my delivery did not come complete with instructions - however, I am sure that I have not missed much. There are some good clips and tips on YouTube with regards to using just this type of mould tray - for example oiling the mould tray before rolling the pate . I am sure that practice will indeed make perfect, but by my second attempt I appear to have cracked it. The secret appears to be that the pate needs to be rolled very thin - this will assist in the cutting edges doing their job, plus mean that it will ultimately cook quicker without the filling drying out, also, before putting the bottom layer pate in the tray, place it on a dusting of polenta. Also, do not overfill the ravioli. Before you apply the top layer of pate and roll, wet your finger and track it around the edges of the mould. This will help the layers to stick when rolled. The resultant ravioli will not simply drop out, but will need a slight help by slipping something under them to easy them out - which they will very easily is oiled / floured. All in all, a great aid to making professional looking ravioli.

Awful tool!
Followed all the online video instructions for this: floured the device heavily, used the cute little roller, made sure the pasta wasn't too thin, filling not too wet etc. Rolled the first batch and it would not come out of the cutter. AT ALL. I had to peel it out and all the filling went everywhere and the pasta wasted. Most useless tool I've ever tried to use.

Ravioli tray
As a previous reviewer said, this is useless if you follow the instructions and flour the tray. It all falls to the bottom and the pasta sticks so much that the pieces are almost impossible to remove.However, I noticed a tip elsewhere to oil the tray. This works pretty well but still needs a bit of practice.I think it would work just as well if the pasta was floured and not the tray. I'll try that next time.The results are well worth the trouble in learning to use the tray.Thinking about it, it's probably worth 4 stars but not 5 because the indentations are a little too small.
