This awning definitely surpassed my expectations for design and function. The setup is slightly more awkward than a rollout, but thats part of being lightweight. The poles easily extend while being made of minimal materials. The nylon is woven with a hexagonal pattern, thus reducing material while maintaining strength. This may cost wear resistance, time will tell. If you had a car, or truck, this would be relatively simple to install. I chose to put it on my camper. I met difficulties mounting it to a flat wall. Oh well, ingenuity saved the day. All in all this is a pretty decent product for the money.

It is difficult to install. The poles to hold the awning up do NOT work. It is heavy. It is extremely hard to get the frame, poles, and fabric back in the cover. It was a bad decision to purchase this item. I tried to return it, but it has to be in the original packaging. I installed it and got rid of the packaging. Soooooo disappointed. Going on a trip in two weeks and I had to take it off my car. I have no idea what I am going to do with a brand new awning I can't use or return!

This works perfectly in the field, except I expected more in the way of bracketing/mounting options. My topper has slide-in mounting bolt option everywhere. I had to imagine/round up different brackets.

Installed this on my Ford Maverick - overland build. I had to modify my brackets since I didn’t have the proper mounting points, but installation was very easy and straight forward. The set up is very easy and can be done by one person. The shade blocks a lot of sun and rain - performance is A+. The size is just right, but you can also get the bigger size which is preferably the best option but will also take a lot of space. I like how it looks since the cover protects and also conceals the awning. The material is also great and is thick so it seems like it would withstand time and weather.

Great product and great price!! I would definitely recommend!! Looks great, installs easy. Have been on multiple 4+ hour trips,on interstates and it didn't add a sound or add to mpg!

The ONLY way I could have come close to understanding how to install this awning was by watching several YouTube videos about it. Instructions that came with it are useless. It should be fairly easy, but Vevor makes it hard. They also have this massive, orange lettering speaking of the wonders of Vevor on the enclosure bag. Sorry, Vevor...My Honda Element is not a rolling ad for Vevor products. I bought a can of gloss, enamel paint and sprayed over it. Adios, Vevor.
