Great beginners telescope!
This was a present for little sister to start a possible interest in astronomy. First looks, great telescope, decent price (although I got this from a different store where it was less) and good for beginners.Once opened the box, which was nicely displayed, I opened the manual which I got to say was a tad complicated (as one book with instructions for different versions). Takes about 10 minutes to fully understand what it is getting stated especially with complicated figures/illustrations.Once completed building, on to the actual practicality. It holds up great, I myself have never used a telescope so this was a first for me too. It is great looking, good materials (looks and feels solid). Has a small tripod so perfect for ages 6-10.I found it very easy to explore around, helps as there was a super moon.My only concern/dislike is the fact that the tripod joint (where you can rotate and lever the telescope) is fairly weak and will quite often slide it’s way down due to the weight of the eyepiece and bottom parts, this maybe just my product though. All around, a great a telescope for beginners and my sister will hopefully be able to explore a lot.Pictures are taken from an iPhone 7, it does look a lot better with your eye through the telescope. Taken using the 20MM and 12.5MM eyepieces which comes with this telescope.

Terrible
Has to be the worst thing I have ever bought on Amazon - very disappointed with this. You simply can’t see anything through it! No matter what you try all you see is blur - and we spent a long time trying! We assumed with the name of 'National Geographic' on this telescope that this would be of decent quality - how wrong we were. Very poor quality, one very disappointed child at Christmas! AVOID!

Waste of money
It is made with mirror and not magnifying glass. It was a disappointment and waste of money.
