Fabulous Bible study book! It makes you search your soul and question the idols that we all create for ourselves. Well written with a bit of her own personality and experience added, which is light and welcome, and lots of material to dig into each week. Also has videos as a companion to the book, which you access online with a code in the back of the book. We’re using this book for an 8 week neighborhood Bible study with women from various denominations. It works for all of us and we’re enjoying the discussion it sparks. Highly recommended!

I thought this book would lightly deal with false idols but it penetrates and reveals the hearts deepest passions of idolatry. This self reflective, book has a way of opening your heart to The Lord and exposing our hearts true desires. Absolutely worth the money and time you will invest as your heart softens towards the Love God has for you. As you dissect your heart, His heart is also being exposed, leaving so much room for growth and intimacy with your Heavenly Father! 5 out of 5 stars!!!

This is a great Bible study to do alone or with a group. Kelly Minter is so easy to watch and learn from. Her insights and love for God are revealed in this study. I would do this study again alone and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn what it takes to give up the idols in our lives to live a life of freedom and joy for God.
