Another update: I just ordered another two bottles. I got the dolce & Gabbana light blue version, and the Ariana grande cloud version. I'm excited to see how close these smell to the original perfumes as I have them both at home but I'm almost out and don't want to pay the name brand price. The only thing I wish was different is the shipping time. It sucks that it takes at least a week but up to 10 days or two weeks. Update; I just got my second bottle yesterday, and I am obsessed and so glad they sent a sample of it. However — ITS SO DANGEROUS. The samples they send I find myself liking even more than the perfume I bought. I’m now ordering my third bottle. This is bad. Shipping is hit or miss. First one came super fast, second one was a bit longer, the smell is phenomenal. At first, I was a little thrown off when I sprayed it. It kind of smelled like old lady, but I noticed it on me and it smelled really good. They also sent a mini version of one of the other scents, which caused me to order it because it smelled so damn good. (It was nice getting a trial size of something I’ve never smelled before Because now I’m obsessed with it. But would have never ordered it) Comes in a glass jar. It’s a huge bottle, and the smell seems to last most of the day

Gorgeous citrus floral.

I ordered two scents from Twist and have tried four, since they send a sample of another scent with each purchase. The initial spray smells very similar to the original product, but it doesn't last very long. All four had a common after scent which may be the base that each product is built on. I don't know. I sprayed it directly on my clothing to see if it left a fragrance there. Hardly any lingering smell. I can douse myself in these knock-offs and there is no scent after just a few minutes. My purchases were six months ago. I read all the recent five star reviews and think maybe Twist has improved their products. I still am not sure about ordering anymore as, for me, the perfumes were a waste. I'll wait and see if this line of scents stands the test of time. Right now, I still feel Twist is a bust!

OMGoodness,I never expected for this perfume to smell so wonderful. I love if so much that as soon as I got it, took a shower & sprayed until I was satisfied. Very pleased thank you!!!!!

I am a huge Chanel fan and I happen to have a bottle of Chance Eau Tendre to directly compare this "inspired by" fragrance. Here is what I found. I put Twist on one wrist and Chance on the other to get the best direct comparison possible. The fragrances are similar for sure at first spray. They hit many of the same notes fresh out of the bottle but the dry down on me shows definite differences. Chanel is very soft, more floral, and lacking citrus pith sharpness. This Twist perfume is sharper by far and has way stronger bitter citrus notes. The longevity is good but I did get increasing sharpness over time that started to smell a bit chemically to my nose, similar to citronella/bug spray. The Chanel stayed soft throughout the day and tapered off in smell gradually. I actually think the Twist has more longevity but since it strays toward chemical weirdness on my skin, I don't think that's a good thing. Sorry, I'm not great at explaining scents but long/short is that Twist is sharp and more citrusy (think white kinda bitter part of the citrus) and Chance is soft and a bit more florally if that makes sense, and the longer they stay on my skin, the more the differences in the scent profiles are evident. The balance of the perfumes is way different. So here is what I came to conclusion of: Chanel is worth the money in comparison to this less expensive inspired by version for me personally. I don't hate the Twist version per se, and in fact I like it right out of the bottle, but the chemical bug spray-ish scent that comes out over time is a bit off-putting to me. This might not apply to everyone and might just be a reaction to my skin chemistry so don't completely rule out this version if you really want to try it for the price. It is not an exact dupe by a long shot but when first sprayed, does have a pleasant scent. I think personally I will retire the Twist and stick with the real deal. It might work well as a linen or air freshener spray, which is something I'll try out so I don't have to totally waste it. You can't beat the cost of Twist and it would be a great value if you find a scent that does work for you. I was very impressed with the bottle and the extra mini bottle sample of a scent that I received with the Twist perfume. You can tell they are a serious company trying their best to make inspired scents and they put effort into the packaging to make your experience receiving it very positive. This particular scent just happened to be a miss for me but I am not ruling them all out and I might try more in the future. I hope this helps someone wondering if they should take the hit to their pocketbook and head out to Chanel or order this and hope for a better scent match/skin chemistry match with this version.
