Always perfect
Upgraded my riflescope on Tikka T3 Lite to 30mm FFP scope from a 1” tube scope. Talley rings are the best mount for a scope in my experience.

Throw your stock Tikka rings in the trash and get these!!!!
These mounts saved me just before whitetail season. The stock Tikka T3 mounts are known for letting a scope slide, especially on the larger caliber rifles. In the case of my 300wsm, this was a major problem and it was happening. Just about every forum recommended these rings so I picked up a pair of LOW and MEDIUM rings. The low is supposed to be .400 according to Talley. I measured about .480 on the stock ones from Tikka. These arrived in perfect condition and are extremely light. The fasteners are nice as well. These mounted up perfectly and my scope has not moved in the 40 rounds I immediately put through it for testing. If I could recommend anything, perhaps include a small batch of blue Loctite? I did put a small drop on ALL fasteners once I got everything where I liked it. You cannot go wrong with these rings. Worth every penny. A picture is worth a 1000 words here.... The low mounts work perfect with a scope cap on a 42mm scope. Hope this helps someone because the hardest part for me was not knowing whether to get low or medium.

Tried it, loved it, bought it again.
I really liked the sound of a ring that doesn't need a base. It makes sense in my brain. Eliminate many issues involved with other bases/rings. Picatinny vs weaver, an extra set of screws to fiddle with, is the ring height from the top of the receiver or the top of the base, ect. I've had endless issues with rings and base compatability. So I figured wth. Let's give it a shot. I sat the scope on stacks of pennies. Once I got a height I was comfortable with, I measured the stacks and settled on medium height for a 50mm objective. I mounted these to a Tikka t3x compact lite. The mating was beautiful. Sat flush in position without leaving even a .0005" gap anywhere. The screws went into the receiver nice and snug from the first thread. Very tight tolerance. Now to break out the lapping/allignment kit (it doesn't matter what ring it is, it should be lapped). The alignment was fantastic. As another review for talley rings posted with a picture, the alignment was next to perfect. Lapping was smooth and easy. Took off just enough to relieve the pressure points. Torqued down the screws for the rings to spec and it looks pretty. No extra connections, nice sleek look and that scope is solid. I didn't bed the rings to the action. I didn't think it was necessary between the magnificent fit and low recoil cartridge. But if I think I'm getting some poi shift down the road, it'd be super easy. I liked these rings so much that I ordered a set for a howa 1500 mini action and have been hit with the dreaded backorder. At least at the price I paid for them. Worth the wait.

Perfect lightweight ring for the Tikka T3x
Perfect fit for a Leupold VX Freedom 2-7 on a tikka T3x 223. Easy to mount, Everything was perfectly aligned. Didn't even require any lapping. Lightweight, and significantly cheaper than some other options. As always a durable quality item from Talley.

Taller than 'low', IMHO, but otherwise, awesome.
I mounted a Bushnell 6500 2.5-16x42 with these on a Tikka T3. This is my 5th or 6th set of Talleys on different rifles over the years, and like all the others, these fit unbelievably well. The manufacturing tolerances are bang on perfect. Why do I only give these 4 stars then? These are nowhere near what I would call "low". I am 99.9% sure these are high enough to mount a 50mm or larger scope with; there is a LOT of air between the scope and the barrel with the 42mm scope. In my mind a 'low' ring should be too low to mount a 50mm scope on (even a 44mm should be a really tight fit on a 'low' ring). These are way way higher than that, and Talley makes it ridiculously hard to find specs on what size scope these are appropriate for (they used to publish a wonderful chart, but they have taken that down and I can't find it anymore). Anyway, I should have bought the Extra-Low version. All that said though, these will do plenty good enough to prevent me from spending the time and shipping money to have them swapped for extra-lows. Having my scope higher than is absolutely necessary, while not my preference, is not that big a deal either. Talley rings are 5+ stars. But if you are putting a sub-50mm scope on your rifle, get the extra-low 30mm rings, these are taller than what you think of as 'low' if you are used to the 1 inch scope world.

Fits snug like a bug
Easy install on a Tikka T3 Lite. Fits a Primary arms scope with no issue. Finish on the mounts are good as well. Haven't tested durability but time will tell. So far so good.

Great rings, has held my scope tight for at least 100-200 rounds of 30-06. I usually add a drop of blue loc tite to most of my screws which might have helped a tad. Anyways good light option for hunting rifles.

These mounts fit my T3 perfectly. The low mount is perfect height for a 40 mm scope. When the rifle is placed in the firing position the height is perfect for quick focus and comfort. Shipping was fast and customer service was great.

Great rings, solid and just the right height (medium) for my 44mm objective lens scope.

First, the product itself is excellent. The quality and machining are top-notch, and it provides a perfect, low-profile fit for my Tikka T3x Lite. As a piece of hardware, it's a 5-star product that provides a rock-solid base for a scope. However, I'm giving it 4 stars because it came with absolutely zero instructions. As someone new to mounting optics, this was a significant frustration. The challenge isn't just about tightening the screws; it's about knowing where to place the scope along the mount to get the correct eye relief, how to level it, and what torque specs to use. I had to turn to YouTube to figure out the whole process. If you already know how to properly mount a scope, buy this with confidence—it's fantastic. If you're a newbie, just be prepared that you're on your own for the installation. The mount is perfect, but the lack of guidance is a real oversight for beginners. Had to check videos online, which felt unnecessary.
