Inferior design. Low flow.
Inferior design. Even though it is 3/4" inlet / outlet fittings, the machined passage is around 3/8" on the inlet side. Water flow through this is greatly reduced. You can adjust pressure but you will not have enough flow through the regulator. Consider other regulators with better flow characteristics.

Pressurized my water on sailboat
Keeps pressure from blowing out my pressurized water system design.

imperfect and tempermental to set up
the ports are a tad loose for a proper NPT port fit, way too much teflon tape required, luckily they provide a lot of itthe adjustment simply does not work above ~80PSI without shimming the side opposite of the adjustment(and I recommend opening to clean out factory debris anyway)after that it is a simple and mostly reliable regulator(though it leaks VERY slowly up to input pressure, not really much of a problem for most water systems, but your RV water heater will often leak out the relief some due to it)

Good quality
Unfortunately, I had to go with another.

Compact, Decent quality, good price, poor design configuration.
Small and compact, great for tight areas. Came with a gauge, wrench and tape.Being small and compact, the hole for the gauge is in a bad location. I noticed the threads of the 3/4 pex fitting block the hole to the gauge. Since i had pex fittings from Amazon, i went to the local hardware store to pick one up. Just in case they may be a little shorter in length. The fittings are the same length. A little disappointed, i wanted the gauge. You need a gauge to see your pressure before and after making adjustments. otherwise, you're just guessing and could cause damage to appliances. Unfortunately, i had it already plumbed and ready to go when i noticed the hole is blocked by the other fitting. Can't go without water while i return and wait on a new one.

Regulates but threads not NPT!
Well it does regulate pressure. But installation was a PIA. All threads are IPS (straight), not NPT (tapered), including the ¼" gauge port. Inlet/outlet only have 5 threads, and since gauge required use of a rubber washer only 2 usable threads for that port. I was aware of the leaking reviews and suspected this may be the case. Why I opted to use PVC MIP fittings since could quickly bevel the edges allowing them to thread in as far as possible. And still took ~10 wraps of PTFE tape + dope for it to seal. Before installation I did disassemble and inspect the valve components. Top cap has the adjustment screw (6mm hex, key included) and bottom holds the stainless steel mesh filter. Also a few o-rings and flat rubber washer. Didn't get the exact sizes but looks simple to service down the line. Also wanted to lube everything with plumbers grease while it was apart.Don't recommend for use with a boiler. Don't believe pressure will go low enough for that application. And gauge doesn't seem accurate below 45 PSI. Got this since our street pressure was a whopping 90PSI, and at least on the high end the gauge was accurate. Have it set now for 65PSI and confirmed that reading with another gauge.Had initially planned to install an expansion tank as well, though this regulator does not have a check valve. And our local code doesn't require backflow preventers either so opted to skip that part.If your handy and willing to mess about (and plan ahead) the regulator does work. But for the avg DIYer don't even consider this.
