This is not an easy install for a novice
I have a 2 wheel drive 2015 Chevy Suburban. I bought this 3" front kit and the 1.5" lift kit for the rear (purchased separately) to level out the Suburban. This is not an easy install for a novice. In order to install the upper spaces, the existing studs in the top of the stock struts need to be cut shorter by about 1/2". The existing studs in the top of the Chevy struts are longer than this spacer is thick thus the need to have to cut them down.In the front, I installed the top spacers first. Once the strut was back in place and I was ready to slip in the lower strut spacers, the only way to get the lower spacer in place would be to take apart the joints to lower the control arm or compress the springs. This was going to be too much work so I decided to only use the top spacer and not use the lower spacers. I am glad I made this choice because now the suburban is perfectly level without the lower spacer installed on the front. I believe the top spacer by itself raised it the full 3".The 1 1/2" rear spacer kit (purchased separately) and only the top part of this front strut spacer increased the front clearance by 3" and back by 1 1/2" Leveling the Suburban perfectly. I then installed 305 55 R20 tires and it looks awesome and does not rub. HUGE IMPROVEMENT in look of the suburban. The ride is almost the same. Lifted with the larger tires is not quite as tight and solid feeling as the stock height but the look and clearance is worth it. I needed the ground clearance for the back roads when camping.
