It’s an 8 ohm speaker and will work as long as your lunch box doesn’t have over 300 watts of output

Q: Was wanting to mix this with the black label in a g-flex 2x12 but worried about possible odd resonant frequencies?

EV classic is very tight, don’t expect extremely low bass. Think bass guitar, super efficient.

Q: What’s the difference between the evm12l and the black label ?

Black label is endorsed by Zakk Wylde, and is said to have better cooling and handle more power, therefore the higher price. Actual sound difference is hard to say. I have a 1/2 stack with 4 of these, plus a dually. They sound great with anything but really kick ass on metal. I've experimented with a lot of speakers and these are way up at the top of the list. Pricey, but would definitely recommend.
