Handy to have
If you dabble with anything electronic some of these will almost certainly come in handy at some time. \at the price they are a good investment.

My set of 3 does not work. Cannot lower output power below 12v. For 2 our of three that I have tested, both are faulty.

Suprisingly little ripple :)
So. If you're a hobbyist: These DC->DC step-down transformers are excellent ...If you're a nerd, read on:- I hooked one of these up to a nearby 24v04 PSU and my multimeter and turned the screw until I got to 15v00 (an arbitrary choice) ...It took a fair old few turns, hitting ±0.01V was easy, but the last 0.01V was a bit fiddly to nail - but possible [should you care to be that accurate]. Once there, I hooked it up to the scope - which [see screenshot] suggests I was actually closer to 14v70 - I think my multimeter probably needs calibrating. I wound the Y axis down to 100mV and the X axis down to 10μS ...To see ~80mV of ripple at 100KHz ...So yeah, pretty darn good :) It was probably on for about 5 mins while I mucked around and, while dropping ~9v, got barely warm to the touch. At £1.20 each - I don't see how you can go wrong

Handy converters for the DIYer
For anyone that is interested in DIY electronics these are super handy to keep around. Seem to work well with no squealing or anything like that as some Ive had do. Easy enough to adjust with the adjustment screw, and dial in with a multimeter. Solder pads are a reasonable size and easy to use for low amp applications.

Voltage regulators do not work
All six units are faulty. They all have a constant output of around 12.45v and the regulator screw does nothing. Waste of money
