Tools are "ok" but case is junk.
Bought this so I would have a compact, complete set of tools for car. I wanted them secured in a storage container that was space saving and to encourage keeping every thing in one place. But I'm going to have to figure out a different way to store them. The cutouts where each to is supposed to go (secured in its slot) are sloppy and misshapen. Example: Grove for elect. tester grove has already flattened and doesn't hold it in. Since its in the lid it will ALWAYS FALL OUT. When you open the top the tools there just fall out of the slots. (Brush, needle nose, both parts of elect tester.)You need to be aware of that and prepare to catch them or retrieve from trunk, mud, etc. You can't even put he needle nose in its slot because the tool is too long. The only way to put it in is to force it and try to hold everything in place to close the lid. Latches are so flimsy they will probably break off quickly. The case is only good for the seller to show a nice display. Completely unfunctional. I'll probably either cut out all the problem sections and let the tools stay loose or look for another tool box. Probably back to the one this was to replace. I haven't had time to test the tools. They look ok but I hope they don't fail when I need them.Get what you pay for.

Excellent value and a reliable well-made starter auto tool kit.
I had a car battery on one of those chargers that's supposed to maintain the battery. Unfortunately, rather than maintaining it, it decided to boil it over so I had a puddle of sulfuric acid under the car, on the battery tray, and elsewhere in my engine bay. A few minutes after noticing that, this tool kit arrived so I figured I had a chance to quickly try it out. Note that this is an SAE set without metric parts. Fine by me, since my job was in an older Mustang and therefore wouldn't have any metric bits.I was impressed right away with the socket wrench, which has 72 teeth for finely tuned turning. The handle is comfortable and there's negligible wobble of the socket itself. There are a couple of extensions and a spark plug socket. The modular screwdriver has the bits necessary for the majority of issues. Now, in reality, this is a starter set. You'll definitely need a bigger socket wrench for those rusty parts, as well as some larger screwdrivers and wrenches, but for a small job like today's, I had everything I needed to remove the battery, the tray, and get everything cleaned up and back together again (though admittedly I needed some baking soda and paper towels, neither of which were in the kit). The case is sturdy plastic and can be hung up on the wall using the carrying handle. The overall grade of the tools is much better than I had expected given the cost. I didn't get any sense in the first job or two that these tools would fall apart under regular use. This is a great emergency kit to keep in the trunk of the car for little jobs that sometimes arise on the road.
