Heavy Duty Pool Vacuum Head with Side Brush Wheels & Aluminum Handle

We have had a 20x40 in-ground vinyl liner pool for over 30 years so am well experienced in repairs & maintenance. This is one of the best vacuum head that I have found. Really like the extra width & the pole connection that allows it to swivel slightly when using. It definitely makes it easier to use in deep end floor & sloped walls. It rolls easily & definitely pulls debris from all of the head area. The suction cause the vacuumed head to stick to the liner a few times in the deep end but I wasn’t concerned with it doing any damage to the liner. The roller vacuum head that I had just prior to this one was constantly sticking to the liner which worried me about damage. The cost was higher than other types but worth it if it hold up. I purchased this as a combined vacumn and brush head but the brush sizes are so small they barely work. I have to go over the same area at least three times compared to my previous vacumn brush. Additionally I could not use it at all on narrow ledges like I could with my previous vacumn brush. I had to use a broom. I chose this item because my previous vacumn brush handle was plastic and broke and I wanted something in metal that would last. This product is a 90% vacumn head with rollers. Whilst the product may be well made for what it is, it was more than double the price of a dedicated weighted vacumn head or my previous vacumn brush and as far as I am concerned, it fails as a combination. I only used the product for the first time today and have already ordered a pivoting metal vacumn head handle and will use it in combination with my old vacumn brush and/or similar designs that work far better as a combination.

I wish I had had one of these years ago. Pool cleaning is much easier. My old vacuum head was getting stuck to the bottom of the pool sometimes and was very difficult to push. The wheels on this unit are great. You can steer it underwater with small turns of the handle. It is sturdy and seems to be well built. I have a few wrinkles in my pool liner but this goes right over them easily. Terrific product!

This vacuum works better than any robot that I've spent thousands of dollars on. It's manual labor but definitely worth it pulls to algae right out of the pebble tec pool finish. Very well Built heavy and sturdy. Seems like it will last quite a few seasons. Love the wheels and the brushes that brush the bottom of the pool and the walls. Very easy to use.
