Excellent tea! Love the educational information provided, and the care and extensive processing taken to make this tea more effective and flavorful. As stated in the Q/A section, the tea is naturally sweet, contrary to this varietal being bitter. This is related to a degree to the their seven step process of rolling the tea, which is also grown with organic methods -- 100% chemical and pesticide free! My experience is that the tea has been extremely consistent in flavor profile. It is refreshing, relaxing, medicinal, and a great way to consume more fluids!

*So far so good, but will update this after I’ve had more of the tea.The actual taste isn’t bad and compared to others teas I have drank it’s slightly sweet, dark greenish in color once brewed. I have found I can get almost 3 full cups of brewed tea from one bag. I think this will vary depending on how long you brew the bag in each cup. Overall I like it so far and hope to receive benefits from it.The picture I attached is just to show the pyramid shape of the actual tea bags, the bags look to be constructed well with good material too.

I like the flavor of the tea, but with something imported from China, I'd like to purchase from someone who actually tests their products for heavy metals. On their website, they say: "We do test our jiaogulan regularly for chemical residues, heavy metals and common contaminants.".I reached out to them twice on the customer support e-mail they list on their website asking to see any lab results, and they haven't bothered to reply.So while I don't know whether or not they test, I personally don't feel comfortable consuming this if they aren't willing to share the results...Edit -- they finally sent test results a month+ later and apologized for the delay. Results were from before I requested them which made me feel better. Updated score.

A favorite of mine. It's a light and fresh tea, a good alternative to a caffeinated tea.

Sometimes you worry about what's actually in the tea bag when you buy herbal tea.What I love about this brand is the story behind the brand, but also the fact that you can see the little individual leaves inside the bag. They are still leaves, and not crushed to powder. So it isn't leaves and "other stuff." It's tea leaves!Taste is ok. I usually brew a cup with one of these teabags and also a teabag of hibiscus tea in the same cup. The sourness of the hibiscus improves things and makes a good taste combo. Hibiscus is another well studied herbal tea with lots of health benefits, so they go together in that way too.

For some reason, I felt lead to believe the tea was grown in the US. This is not specified on the description of the tea on Amazon nor the company’s website. Once I received the tea and was 1/2 way into a cup, I located on the back side of the bag where it says “Country of Origin: China”. I wish I would have known this before purchasing. Tea tastes fine, but wish I would have known this prior to purchasing as I currently do not feel comfortable with consuming anything coming from China. Will be returning.
