S-Tec Giant 12" Folding Assisted Open Cleaver Pocket Knife/Black

I am a delivery driver and for years used a buck knife. Recently that knife broke and I tried a few assorted box cutters. The box cutters seemed small and fragile. I have to cut shrink wrap off of pallets on a daily basis. This knife does the job great. It’s super big and gives a very wide cut margin. The knife seems very sturdy and does not feel at all cheap. It’s on the heavy side, but for me that’s fine. Easy to open and fold. Came sharp. I use a sharpening stone once a week to keep it razor sharp. Only negative is that the sheath that came with it is very cheap. The belt loop busted in about 2 weeks. Now the blade does have a nice clip on it. I liked the sheath however as it was more concealing and definitely more comfortable to wear. I didn’t feel like this deserved a bad review or less stars but I am definitely disappointed in the sheath.Overall I would recommend this product.

I don't usually leave my 2 cents,unless it compelling for me to do so.. I wasn't expecting anything much from my order. Seeing the other reviews and pics from others. So I decided what can I lose. Either way it'll be ah win win. But when I noticed how sharp this knife is. Coming straight out of the box. It really took me back alil. I will say that this will turns heads if you're going to be using this as your daily driver. So be prepared...sec6is the weight it does have heft to it. It's nothing crazy heavy but you won't lose your grip either.. all in all this is a good backup to your backup your using just incase moments. You will feel alil like Stallone abit when you have it fully drawn out. Other than that. It's 2 thumbs up. I how the blade will live up to the size of the hype...I'd recommend even if you are not a committed knife user. This is a good collection piece to add. Just giving my honest opinions

This is a pretty big folding knife! I like it, don’t think I would really daily carry this but I’ll give it a try. It’s sharp and heavy. Quality is good for the price and it comes with a pouch.

Ok just got my S-Tec. My first impression on taking it out of the shipping box was the weight. It’s big like the title says its a clever not for EDC. The sheath it comes in is large and kind bulky mire of a utility pouch then sheath, it will be replace with something better. The knife (clever) is very solid and after careful inspection its well made well worth the price. The cutting edge does need work tho. It comes sharpened but not razor sharp, a little work with my wet stones medium grit, and fine grit, followed by leather strop and it should sharpen up quite nicely. Like I said before this is not an EDC blade it’s big make a good camp knife for butchering large game (clever) or camp hatchet, it could also be used for work cutting heavy insulation or other bulky materials where a box blade or shears won’t work. I give it four stars for the sheath and the edge. Will update at a later date on how the edge does after I’ve sharpened it and see how well it takes an edge.

I bought this as joke to give as a present. Because lets face it, nobody is going to carry this thing as an EDC. When I received the knife, opened it, held it I was really taken back. It has a the feel of a good build, was fairly sharp out of the box. Flipped and locked open nicely. It's one of those knives that doesn't make sense but it's gonna stand out from the rest of your collection. I'm gonna get one for myself just cause lol.. you should get one too.

Monster blade i love it but.... its not for everyone blade is very heavy and thick. I carry it in my front pocket as my as second main because of size and situational use. Plus if you ever have to use as defensive/offensive weapon its gets the point across.

I bought 2 of these, one as a gift and one so I could try it out.Surprisingly it is very usable for the day to day. It is huge, but does fit in a back pocket for ease of access (check your state laws allow this first) I initially bought it as a gag gift as it is so big, but the person I gifted it to was very impressed with it and exchanged their field knife with it for their camping bag.The edge does hold fairly well, but it is only soft steel. I have sharpened once in the month I have had it, but do use it daily to break down boxes.I will be buying more of these.
