Item was as described. Nice sound, beautiful color. For a beginner it is good, but you have to watch the tuning as it easily becomes out of tune. No big issue as you just re-tune before playing. Update- As my daughter is playing it more, the stringer have broken in, and she does not have to tune it as much as when she first received it. I would recommend this for anyone on the fence. it was worth the money.

I don't have much experience with ukuleles so I'm mostly clueless but hey, it plays well!

Brought it as a starter kit for my son. He's too little for a guitar so I'd like him to start with something he can carry around. Good quality and affordable. I've checked it and I believe it'd be a good Christmas gift. I wouldn't expect it for anyone serious about learning to play the ukulele, since for such a price level one shouldn't expect more than it offers. To be very clear, this is definitely a beginner Uke and should be purchased as that. The tuner is quite alright with nice sound. The plastic strings do good for kids' fingers and so making it perfect for my needs.

Very cute, but might as well buy a cheap toy ukulele because this is exactly that. Bought this thinking it could be my 3 year olds first instrument since she expressed so much interest in my real handmade ukulele from Hawaii. This is not anything even remotely close to a real ukulele. The strings are cheap plastic. It seems tuning is needed after each stroke. The sound isn't right at all. Regret buying this, wish I just bought a real ukulele instead.
