I'm not tall, 5'9, and it's too short for me. And the buttons are absolutely awful. It would be much better I just used cheap snaps instead of these great big black things that are hard to get put together. And I'm not using this to play dress up. I'm actually a pastor.

The material of this cassock is fairly nice...the top third of it is satin lined, it has a nice overall weight and it drapes fairly well. I wear a size 50R suit, and the shoulders barely fit, but it's ok. The fit looks good, but it's a little bit binding for the arm motions I must make (I'm a Music Director at an Anglican Parish, and direct our choirs.) But like I say, it will suffice. It arrived in good condition, except the inside shoulder button for the inner flap was missing. It wasn't in the box, and there was just a thread where the button should have been. This was a quick fix with needle, thread, and a spare button I had lying around - easier than a return. While I was at it, I went ahead and shored up the other three buttons just in case. Other than that, it's pretty nice. There are way nicer ones out there if you want to spend a few hundred bucks or more. But this one should serve me well for several years I think. I wear this cassock along with a white surplice for Mass.

Billed as unisex but shoulders are wide and thick like a mans jacket. It is also a bit short for me though it said 5'6" -5'8" and I am 5'8". However the price is right for a sturdy, well sewn garment that will most often be worn under a surplice anyway.

I'm 5'4", so I originally chose size 48 from the chart. While it was perfect around my waist, I found the cassock a little shorter than I would have liked and that the cassock bulged open at the top (that size 48 is a for a 42" max chest is not quite true, especially when one wears a cassock over clothes). Because I wanted more length, I returned the first cassock and ordered size 51. It fits about perfect on the chest and I like the length (to about my ankles). The sleeves were a tad long on me as I ordered a size up, but I was able to adjust those myself folded in an inch and did a quick stitch by hand.The cassock is well made. The stitching is neat. The polyester is not super thick, so the fabric falls down naturally around the body.This will be a good first cassock. We'll see how it wears.

Fits okay and looks fine. The material is light, and it is lined above the waist. I didn't expect great things for the price, but one thing I didn't expect was wrinkles and creases. I hung it out -- then washed it and ran it through the dryer -- then ran it through the de-wrinkle dryer cycle. Result: wrinkles and creases. I had to break out the iron, (last used how many years ago?) to get rid of the creases. Definitely NOT a permanent press fabric. Recommend with reservations.

I certainly recommend this robe. Excellent quality, fit perfect, and arrived on time. I like it so much I purchased another robe.

I returned this because it didn't fit me very well. I am short and stocky so the sleeves and overall length was too long for me. At the collar, it was too tight fitting. The white collar insert was made from cardboard and I think that could be improved upon to match the overall quality. Had it been a better fit, I would have kept it.

I love this for my Pastor it was used for church.

This cassock is well put together considering the price. It's wise to order one size larger than you think you need. It fits well - but the buttons do fall off, as other reviewers have noted. It's a simple matter to sew them on properly, and you have a serviceable cassock.

FOR THE PRICE THIS GARMENT IS FINE HOWEVER THE BUTTONS ARE NOT SEWED ON VERY WELL. I WOULD ADVISE SEWING THEM ON MORE SECURLY BEFORE USE.
