Does this contain xylitol, can I use it on my dog?

Xylitol is not listed as an ingredient, but I don’t know if it’s safe for dogs. I would check with a vet first.

Can this be used frequently enough as a saliva replacement to help with eating food?

Find it very useful to take to bed that's when I get a really dry mouth who knows why

Once opened, how long does this last?

It depends how often you use it. My husband uses it once or twice a day so it lasts him several weeks. It’s only 50 ml so obviously has a limited life if you need it a lot.
