Perfect for AP Environmental Science Unit 4
I bought these for use in my AP Environmental Science classroom- the kids LOVE them and I cannot tell you how often I’ve used them for Unit 4 to help students visualize the Coriolis effect, lines of latitude, wind patterns, and El Niño/La Niña. They’ve lasted two years now, although one of them seems like it is having a hard time staying inflated, so I’m going to troubleshoot and see what’s going on with that. I recommend these for the Coriolis effect lab, along with some wet erase markers, and the copco turntables.

Worth the money
They held jup on a parade float with wind and rain. No complaints.

Great learning tool.
I bought these to give to the small schools we encountered in the remote islands of Vanuatu and the Marshall Islands. They are great learning tools, but they are not a toy or ball. They are difficult to inflate by mouth, but once inflated they are colorful and fun to show the kids. If used as a ball or a toy it will most likely pop and/or deflate.

How to inflate
Perfect for classroom teaching and as a gift to take home after. All 32 inflated just fine and have help air for 3 days now. The problem others had as mentioned with inflating is because inside the inflation opening, about 1/2 inch in, is a plastic flapper type value that needs loosening. Just use a toothpick or small awl but stretch out the globe first especially around the value to ensure you don't puncture the globe. Once you get the value partially out of the way (it will still close when you are finished inflating to hold the air) using an electric pump gets them inflated in less than a minute. Then secure the outer valve cover and push in and all should be good. Hope this helps.

Globes for kids' choir
We used these blow-up globes for our Cherub Choir (ages 3-5) when they sang about Jesus loving the whole world. The kids loved their globes, and each one was so happy to take one home after we performed. The globes all inflated well and kept their shape for a week. They stand up to gentle play---tossing in the air and gentle bouncing.
