Obey: Earth Crisis (2 Volumes in Slipcase) Paperback – March 1, 2017

I have all of Shepard Fairey's books and this is by far the nicest one I've purchased (and I even own the Supply and Demand Box Set).The layout design, the paper, the oversized format, and the color scheme, are all wonderful. I think its his most designed book. It also comes in a slipcase so a plus for keeping both pieces safe and secure.This is a must have for any Shepard Fairey fan.NOTE: There is a lot of black matte pages, so DO NOT read this book with greasy fingers!

Simply beautiful and a treasure to enjoy for a lifetime!

Zunächst zu Versand und Lieferung: Die Ankunft des Pakets hat sich trotz Prime und "garantiertem" Lieferdatum ohne Benachrichtigung um zwei Tage nach hinten verschoben, das Paket war bei der Ankunft (Versand mit Hermes) leicht beschädigt. Die beiden Bände sind dank des Schubers aus durchsichtigem Kunststoff ("Bibliothekseinband") unbeschädigt, lediglich genannter Schuber ist - trotz zusätzlicher Schutzfolie - verkratzt. Aus diesen Gründen gibt es einen Stern Abzug, das Produkt selbst ist jedoch sowohl im Aussehen als auch im Inhalt sehr überzeugend. Wie sich das Werk im Vergleich zum restlichen Portfolio verhält, kann ich leider nicht beurteilen, da ich erst vor kurzem bewusst auf Shepard Fairey und seine Street-Art-Kunst gestoßen bin. Allerdings beeindrucken die Werke in diesem Bildband auch ohne Hintergrundwissen und unabhängig von der politischen Agenda. Die großformatigen Abbildungen werden durch kurze Begleittexte auf Französisch und Englisch erklärt und zeitlich eingeordnet. In beiden Bänden werden zahlreiche Werke von Fairey gezeigt und auch einige wenige Fotografien des Earth-Crisis-Globus sind vorhanden. Dieser Bildband in beachtlich großem Format und Gewicht ist auch für neue Interessenten geeignet und sehr zu empfehlen.

Volumi molto belli, ma pacco distrutto, che quindi ha rovinato la custodia e gli angoli dei libri.

I loved the fact that it comes in 2 books which show the artworks in an interesting context. Well published, I wanted to cut out the prints and put it on a wall :)

bel ouvrage, plus un recueil d'image qu'un livre explicatif comme nous en avons l'habitude avec shepard fairey. Par contre attention lors de la manipulation de celui car assez fragile, l'ouvrage à tendance à abimer assez vite.

Super bouquin et super vendeur rien à dire. Je recommande ce format original. Très belle objet, mon quatrième sur obey et très bien.
