These are such great quality! We introduced my toddler to magnetic tiles with the Mickey Train set by Tytan tiles and he would get so frustrated because the magnet on those were not strong enough. After some research I found Connetix and got them for his 3rd birthday. They are expensive but they are worth it; they are much stronger and sturdier for higher builds. Downside is that they are very strong and if you drop one onto another mid build it could collapse. The colors are great and vibrant and it’s honestly a great investment if your child likes to build and experiment. It comes with an inspiration book that comes in handy

I started homeschooling my grandsons and wanted them to spend less screen time. They are 9 and 10 and love coming up with new things to create with the magnet tiles. I highly recommend.

Love this project! Fun activity for the whole family. We had a blast making different things using the blocks. The booklet was helpful to give ideas.

I'd been thinking about grabbing a set of these for my youngest daughter for awhile- she's a Minecraft fanatic and loves to design and build, both in real life and in games, but I finally went ahead and did it for her birthday this year. She went ecstatic over these immediately- I had no idea she'd love them as much as she did, or I would have gotten them much sooner!These are magnetic tiles of all different shapes, colors and sizes that your little one can arrange in endless different ways to create whatever they want. 2D or 3D structures, shapes, whatever. This set comes with over 100 pieces. They are really well made, and if your kid is sensory seeking they'll also get enjoyment out of the sounds and feeling of each connection- there's a really satisfying sound and feeling as each tile connects. They're honestly pretty awesome to sit and play with.My daughter immediately got these out and started working on a little transparent rainbow "house" for her axolotl light and it is fabulous. She's working with these all the time. Constantly building with them. The real challenge is getting her to take one thing down so she has the pieces to start another!She received lots of different gifts for her birthday, but this was the one that she seemed to really get into the most, believe it or not. We have said since she was super young that we thought she'd probably grow up to be an engineer- she honestly just loves building things and she understands how structures work just innately. It scratches an itch for her. These have given her another avenue to explore that interest. I'll definitely be getting her more tiles to add to what she's already got- I wish I'd gotten them sooner!

Building structures and playing with magnetic tiles is a favorite activity in our household and we have a lot of sets. The price of this set surprised me, and when I saw the size of the box I also wondered about them, but I am so glad that I ordered these! Opening the heavy box, you can see the high quality and care put into the Connetix tiles. They are vivid and gorgeously colored with a high shine and an almost prismatic quality to them. They are super well packed in the box (it will take you some work if you want to put them back in this small box!) and when my kids started taking them out they became really excited about all the sizes and shapes. there are several very large squares, and many window, ladder shapes, different types of triangles, all in beautiful, glittering colors.The quality of these and the building suggestion book is unmatched in any of the other sets we have from several different companies. These are much stronger and well made and the magnetic strength is much higher (as my kids build elaborate structures, sometimes they collapse due to the lack of strength of the magnets- this is not the case here!) This set has enough tiles to build a lot of interesting things, but if you want to build some of the bigger structures in the book, you will need other sets. These work well with other sets we have, even though these are much higher quality. This is a really great set and well worth the price.
