dont force anything just click the metal pieces into the plastic circles and ziptie shut. ive bought 3 of these cages already and i cant recommend them more. the second cage had a slightly defected liner (some of the seems for straps werent sewn down) but my guinea pig chews through things so its not a big deal. it still did its job. ive saved so much money going with these cages and when it comes to cleaning the cage every week the liner makes it super easy just untie and place in trash for easy disposal of all the bedding. rinse off liner and put right back. my pigs are starting to get hoppy so ill be back to buy more cages for additional height. thank yall for saving me time and money. not a paid reviewer just really love these cages.

This is a great beginner cage for new small pets. The directions are t the bestBut it's an easy build. It's a great space for our guinea pig.I saw this on YouTube and had to try it out and it is great!!!

I got this for my piggies and I love it so much definitely going to be buying more to add more to the cage. The tarp liners are okay the velcro on the sides in some spots broke as I was putting it together. Overall it was a great purchase

I purchased two sets so I could build a bigger pen. The pieces for building the sides work well and unlike other assemble yourself kits for building runs and cages, this includes both the supports and zip ties to prevent my rabbits from working a gap wide enough to squeeze through between the cage pieces. The combination makes it more stable that items I have used in the past. The flooring is a nice idea but my bunnies had ripped and chewed it to pieces in the first couple of days. Now they seem to be using strips of it to decorate the rest of the cage. I have had to remove the flooring to ensure they don't eat it.

I was hesitant to buy based on some of the more negative reviews but I’m glad I took a shot. It came exactly as advertised, was easy to assemble and will serve its purpose perfectly. Very satisfied!

Looks amazing, They steel cage and plastice clips are strong and comes with zip ties. The plastic mat for the bottom layer is weak and poorly built/sewed together. But overall its does what its meant for. So I'm happy.
