Always incredible!
Garbage in, garbage out...if you listen through a crumby source, you'll get crumby sound. I have them amped, and they sound magnificent! No, the bass is not bloated, it hits, hard. But, I'm listening to Neil young right now, and wow! I got these when they first came, but went down the headphone rabbit hole, and traded these off. I've had high end grados, sennheiser, beyers, and yes, Denons. These are without a doubt awesome in every way. They can keep up with any music i throw at them. If you buy these for your cell phone strictly, your going to start crying. I have a turn table, Kenwood cd player, and a high end mp3 player, most important, a sabaj pha2 headphone amp. Remember, garbage in, garbage out!

3D-printed earcup forks with screw-less locking mechanism to repair your headphones!
The sound quality is very nice with this headphones, but my office colleague also suffered from the same bad plastic construction issues. Therefore 4 stars.So, I designed and 3D printed a repair set to make him happy again. Excellent Headphones for The Money
At around $60-$70 these are among the best portable closed back headphones I have tried.

like the D7100
These headphones sound like the AH-D7100 which sold for 1100.00. I'm not sure why these are under 100 dollars. These have a big soundstage for closed cans and the sound imaging is vast.
