Works Great
Great little humane trap. Easy to set up and trapped the little mouse in the basement. Perfect for small critters. Excellent price and easy to follow instructions. Excellent product for a reasonable price.

Great design and it worked the first night!
It is a GREAT design! Easy to bait, easy to set. It has a door lock that slides down and prevents a critter from forcing its way out. (I haven't used it but I am sure it will work perfect). Also well built, and if it gets damaged by a critter they will replace it. UPDATE: It worked the very first night. I put peanut butter on the inside edges to lure it in further and further. I put lots of peanut butter in the trigger and it worked perfectly.

Simple and effective
They are very easy to use and trapped a large rat first time in use. Release was simple and quick far away from home.

Works great!
Worked great! Caught 2 squirrels within a very short amount of time (they were living in my ceiling). I would have givin it 5 stars but the wire bars are not super strong. The squirrel was able to pull back part of it and make a small hole which lead to it getting cut up by the wires. I was easily able to bend the bars back but I could see that being a repeated issue.

Very well made and easy to set up. And it works well.
The trap was just delivered today. It is very well made, easy to set and easy to release for the rat or mouse. I just set it up in my shop so I can’t comment on its longevity. I think the trick is choosing the right bait. I put a piece of cheese and a piece of a cookie on the release pad as well as a trail of cookie crumbs inside. I’ll update this as time goes on. Update; I put the in my garage/shop at stated above. I checked it this morning, the day after I got it. There was a nice healthy rat inside. 😃. Yey . I took the trap with the little rat inside about a 1/4 mile from my house on a gravel road and released it into a huge open pasture. He scampered away into the tall grass. I hope he enjoys his life outside and away from my shop. Update #2. I have now caught 5 rats in my garage/shop. Rat #4 managed to get the bate without tripping the door. I didn’t put the cheese far enough back on the trip pad. This time I put it all the way to the back and #4 and #5 tripped it in short order. I love this trap. I have a blink camera watching it so I know when they are moving around and when they’re caught. I’ll release this guy tomorrow to join his friends. It’s just too bad he’ll be stuck in there all night. Poor guy.

Works Well for Douglas Squirrels
This worked great for troublesome squirrels. Safe and doesn't harm them. Wear gloves to pick up the cage. It's solid and well made. Cleans up good with a brush and soapy water. Easy set up, fast catch.

Not as sensitive as it needs to be
Having suffered a dead mouse in a wall cavity after I had plugged the access point I wanted to reduce the local mouse population, but I have bird feeders and have on a couple of occasions killed birds that were attracted to the peanut butter I had used as bait in traditional spring traps. So this humane trap seemed like the way to go. I baited it with peanut butter without setting the trap and something, on several occasions, managed to lick the peanut butter off without springing the trap. Also, I had observed that the peanut butter might still be there overnight but would disappear some time in the early afternoon. Though it was somewhat rare, I had seen mice during daylight hours. So I increased the sensitivity of the trap by putting a loop of scotch tape around the bar that goes into the loop, effectively shortening the distance it would have to move in order to spring the trap. Also, I loosely put the same tape on top of the peanut butter to require that the critter work a little harder to get to the bait. After this, I caught a gray squirrel. It barely fit into the cage and was furious and terrified. With leather gloves on, I carefully released it. So, there you have it. The trap works, but may need "help" to work properly.

It worked
After seeing many different reviews I was skeptical but needed to try this method and medium size due to a large rat. I tried putting down rat bait pebbles of ratx tomcom mixed it with peanut butter and all this rat did was lick off the peanut butter and leave the rat bait intact never digesting it. I left the door open and waited for an hour and it never went outside. So I said let’s give thisa try didn’t have anything to lose as I knew the baits were never going to work it was too smart. With this cage it was pretty durable not too flimsy. Easy to setup and The mechanism of the gate coming down to close and capture the rat was amazing. I put it out for 2 hours max. First try I placed peanut butter on the tray it has setup inside. My mistake was placing it on a piece of foil because the rat went inside without activating the tray and literally grabbed the foil and slid it off and away it went to have its food. I know this because I had installed a camera to watch it. It’s sniffed around outside a few time because it smelled the peanut butter was curious and went inside with in. When I seen it grab the foil of peanut butter and walk out the cage with such Waze and then going back 3 more times I said I need to outsmart you. 2nd try I placed just a small amount of peanut butter directly onto the tray it has. it went in, started licking the peanut butter on the side of the tray and then it happened! He triggered the tray and snap! The cage door came down. It has this slide metal piece when the tray snaps closed that metal piece will come down to lock it in place. For me, I was watching on the camera the entire time. As soon as I heard the snap of the lid I ran to grab it because if it’s size it did try to throw itself against the closed lid and thrashed inside but I was ready and waiting. In all I used this for 2 hours and caught it!! If you have a camera that you can add to the area and watch and see what it does you can outsmart it lol this one was smart and knew! but I highly recommend. It was worth every penny and the quality was great and most importantly it did the job! Should’ve purchased this sooner and not waste money on pellets.

I Love the fact that the small animal can be trapped safely and relocated. The conventional rat and mice traps are absolutely barbaric - the poor little critters just wanna live!

Fue realmente sorprendente ver cómo en 3 horas ya había capturado al roedor. Solo seguí la recomendación de otro comprador de amarrar cacahuates al fondo de la jaula, y si, en tres horas cumplió su función

Good human trap for it's price. Place a heavy object on cage ( in a way that does not stop it operating) as our first Asian house mouse managed to get out after the trap being triggered. The dog may have had some role in that but I am uncertain.

My first ever review of a product on amazon but I’m still shocked how well this worked. We put it and 20min later the mouse was caught!!!
