Ships sharp as a razor, and will cut many things with relative ease.
I have this for some time now and have used it fairly extensively. This is a great knife for the money. If you are entry level $$ wise, this is Pro level performance wise. I am not sure what it is about D2 but in my experience this stuff cuts through dry wood like its green leaving smooth cuts. I have beat the heck out of it batoning it to break down fire wood and have carved up multiple try sticks and made several tools. I recommend this knife.

Great knife.
This knife is full tang and great for outdoor activities. It is the perfect size and fits my hand well. It meets all of the uses and quality as more expensive knives at a much more affordable price. It's a great knife.

MY FIRST BUSHCRAFTER YEAH!!!!!!!!
I AGREE WITH THE GENERAL CONSENSUS ABOUT THE FLISSA FIXED BLADE. IT IS AN OVERALL WELL ROUNDED KNIFE AND SHOULD HOLD ALL OF ITS VALUE OVER IT'S LIFETIME. I AGREE WITH MOST THAT THE SHEATH IS SUB-PAR MOST LIKELY PHO-LEATHER. ANOTHER PERSON SUGGESTED TREATING IT WITH LEATHER CONDITIONER INSIDE AND OUT. THAT WORKED WELL. THE SPECS ON THE SHEATH ARE CORRECT AND THE KNIFE FITS GOOD. THE FINE MICARTA HANDLE IS PLEASENT WITH BARE HANDS. NOT LIKE HOLDING A COARSE ROPE.....IT HAS A SUPRISING POLISHED FINISH. THE D2 IS SLIGHTLY OVER HYPED AT THE MOMENT. YOU STILL NEED A LIGHT OILING AFTER WET CONDITIONS, BUT MUCH MUCH LESS THEN A 1095 RAW BLADE. I RECOMMEND THIS BUSHCRAFTER TO MY FELLOW AMAZONIANS. A NOTE TO FLISSA: PLEASE OFFER THESE ACCESSORIES POLYETHELENE LINED CORDURA (OR HEAVY NYLON) SHEATH. A KYDEX SHEATH WOULD BE GREAT TOO.....UPDATE: 2025 2ND FLISSA KNIFE PURCHASE WITH WOOD HANDLE. SOME PROBLEMS ARE STARTING TO ARISE. METAL TANG IS STICKING OUT PROUD AND SHARP IN SOME AREAS. THE HANDLE CAME LOOSE AND THE HARDWARE WAS OUT OF SPEC. WHEN I WENT TO TIGHTEN THE HANDLE NEITHER A METRIC OR STANDARD HEX KEY WOULD FIT PROPERLY. CHECK THESE THINGS AND RETURN AND REPLACE IF PROBLEMS OCCUR. GOOD LUCK!

I got this for less than $15 with a discount!
Sharp as hell right outta the box. Scandi grind, nice handles and decent sheath. This knife is a great value for the price.

Great knife for the money
Nice and sharp right out of the box. Unbelievable for $17. The sheath, although made up a cheap synthetic leather, fits really good.

Awesome and incredible value!
SO awesome. Heavy and feels great in the hand, blade is thick and seems well designed. Haven't cut anything but paper and shaved some arm hair, but I can say it was razor sharp out of the box. Excellent bargain! I'm not a steel nerd, but if this is D2 as advertised and performs as such, will be great to add to the collection. In fact I got several!

Becker BK silhouette, quality knife
Wood scales. Very impressive Becker BK-series shape, razor sharp, stout. Primary grind is flawless. Do remember one thing with this knife:whenever withdrawing or inserting the knife into the sheath, be sure to press the spine of the knife forward into the fold of the sheath, keeping the blade's edge as far away as possible from that thin retaining strap (with the snap on it). Very easy to do; otherwise, the edge will begin to slice into that retaining strap in short order and it will fail.I removed the scales (requires TWO identical hex keys, same size: one on each side) to get the two halves of the countersunk hex screws apart. Then I de-greased the whole knife blank, heated it with a heat gun, and frog-lubed it. Then applied a thin layer of automotive grease on the area where the scales go. I applied blue lock-tite to the screws and tightly reinstalled the scales, squishing the automotive grease out from between the mating surfaces. Wiped the excess grease off. The frog-lube should protect the entire knife blank and I don't think any rust can possibly form inside the handle. This knife should command at least a $45 price tag, IMHO. Buy it, rust-proof it, hone it, and wear it. It will not disappoint.

Very nicely made knife but handle is small for large hands.
just an initial review, very nicely put together knife, way better than I was expecting. BUT after ordering multiple Flissa knives i’ve noticed their handles were made for small people. Decent sized blade but the handle is tiny.I do have somewhat large hands but the fact still remains. Is my hand supposed to fill in the swell or or the whole handle?
