Although these brush heads appear identical to the branded types, they are not as good because they tend to rattle and come loose when used. We have already thrown 2 away because they were so noisy. Their ovwerall function seems about the same but I doubt I would use them again.

Bit noisy, but they do the job much cheaper than the branded ones!

I have been using a Philips Sonicare toothbrush for many years now. I have been very pleased with it, and would never go back to manual brushing.My only concern has been the cost of replacement heads. I have always avoided 3rd party offerings because of negative reviews. I didn't want to waste my money.However, when I saw this product, and read the reviews, I thought I might as well give them a try.It seems that the most common complaints about 3rd party replacements are that they don't fit well, or they're noisy, or that the bristles don't last.I'm pleased to report that none of those problems appear to apply here. I've only been using the first head for about a month, but there's no sign of premature failure of the bristles. The head fits well, and it's no more noisy than Philips originals.The only thing different from Philips original heads appears to be that the threaded sleeve cannot be removed from the rest of the head. Not a big deal, but I used to like to do that from time to time to thoroughly clean inside. However, that's a small price to pay for a very small price.I won't hesitate next time, and will definitely buy these replacements when I need to stock up again.

This is an excellent product. Other reviewers have given this a one star, mainly because of the "increased noise". They do make a slightly louder running noise, but when you are actually cleaning your teeth the difference is barely noticeable, and in any event the process only takes 3 or 4 minutes twice a day. Hardly a Chinese water torture. So, the choice is quite simple, pay £20 for 2 Philips brushes or £15 - £16 for 6 of these. Tough choice!
