This is something I wish I had purchased years ago. I have had this about a year. It is easy to install and it works great. The gate also opens easily and it has little rubber feet that you install it over that help with security. I have hard wood floors and I was worried about this. It is great for cat introductions and it is secure. I do wish I had purchased one that was a tiny bit taller because one of my cats can jump it. The gate is at my shoulder level so most cats cannot.

My cats and dogs don’t get along and this gate keeps them separated. It’s high enough to stop the one cat who always jumped over my last baby gate and I could not be happier to know my cats are safe now! I like the gate and it’s very sturdy, opens and closes easily. It was pretty straightforward to install and the extra side pieces were just what was needed to keep the spaces small enough so no cat can get through. The only downside is the handle. It lifts up too much when opening and closing so I wrapped a piece of white electrical tape on it to hold it down as I felt that with time that might eventually break. This seems to have done the job as it no longer lifts up to far. Overall I am happy with this purchase. It works as it intended and my cats can still see us through the gate and be safe.

I absolutely love this gate. It solved all my problems with both of my cats having access to every part of the house. My one cat kept peeing on my couch (I took him to the vet he is fine now) and I had to get a new one. I no longer wanted him to be able to get in my living room. The gate is sturdy and high enough where neither can jump over. Ive moved since I purchased the gate in December 2024 and it helps with keeping the cats in their room since we been in the new home 7/1. I want to be able to see them without having to close the door so the gate is perfect. Looking forward to making this room special for them.

At first I was skeptical a gate like this would work very well, but though I’d give it a try, I was very pleasantly surprised to find it’s very solid, well constructed, installs easily, and was the perfect solution to what I needed. I can highly recommend this item…

It is very clunky and not of good quality. The plastic stands do not fit very well, you have to force the gate pieces into them. it took some time to adjust the gate to my door opening using the big knobs. by the time I was done, the gaps between the main gate and adjustable pieces were so big, my cat could go through. I had to use the rest of the gate extension pieces to reinforce the sides, so there are no large openings. Enamel on the gate is cracked/chipped. The white plastic things to attach the top are absolutely not usable, you canʻt hook it up to anything - they are so stiff and tiny. Itʻs impossible to do anything with them. I tried to read the manual on how to use them exactly, but the manual is worse than from Ikea - itʻs mostly pictorials. I ended up using white zip ties. Overall, it was a lot of work to make it work because the quality is so poor!

This is a perfect gate for isolating a fearful rescue cat without actually closing the door. Decent instructions and please pay attention when it says to NOT cut the cable tie prior to putting the gate in the doorway. Because this is a tall gate, the latch can be cumbersome (pull latch over & lift) when you have your hands full. I still needed to put a sheet over the gate yo help him feel secure (it was too open and scared him) this is the perfect gate when you need to have a strategy to move the gate from doorway, to top of stairs, to bottom of stair landing, to expand your rescue's space.

So i have had this for about a month now. First off I got the 51" one to keep my cat out while still allowing good air flow. The cat can jump over it. While not an issue with the product but a frustrating note. As for the gate installing was simple but i had difficulty keeping it in place. It kept moving on the wall every time i open the gate. I would have to reset it every couple of uses. I ended up just installing bolts in the wall to hold it in place. Once the gate was pretty much screwed into place it worked pretty good. then about a week ago the spring in the door popped out. Over all. I think the gate is okay it does what i wanted to with modifications. I highly recommend just bolting it to the wall vs trying to keep using the feet that come with it.
