The negative reviews had me worried, but it's works very well for me. The setup went quickly and without a hitch. The light has variable colors and brightness, which is perfect as we wanted to create a warm intimate dining space with appropriate light. I found it to be very bright, I'm guesstimating it's comparable to a 100 watt incandescent bulb. It is another device on my wireless network, so I have security concerns, but right now everything has worked out very well. Definitely worth $20 and way cheaper and easier than installing a dimmer.

I started out getting a phillips hue light at Walmart. When I got home I discovered you need a "bridge" to use the light. So i ordered a used bridge. So far i had spent $70 and couldnt use my new light. I did some searching on Google (as i should have done in the first place) and discovered yeelight was a bluetooth alternative. No bridge needed. I canceled my order and returned the hue light. The yeelight remains to be the best option for anyone who wants lighting for a studio, movie room, or bedroom.

LOVE these bulbs. Amazing, much more affordable alternative to bigger brands, and doesn't need a hub. The app is intuitive and easy to use. Being able to turn the lights on from away, or to change colors from the couch, is amazing. How have I lived without these for so long?

I've had it for about 7 months and it was fine, it just does not connect to the WiFi anymore. Can't use it properly without its key function. It worked well when it worked.

Great rgb light made even easier to use threw Google home mini. It's only con is when the internet goes down the light stops being smart wish it would connect through my phone's internet but it is what it is

Great value RGB Smart LED Light. Setup is a little hard. You have to cycle the light on and off to set up to your WiFi. It integrates well with Amazon Alexa and IFTTT.Xiaomi has two apps you can use to control this light. There is the Mi Home app and the Yeelight app. The UI looks better in the Mi Home app, however there is only basic control the light bulb. You can also control more Xiaomi smart products with the Mi Home app. The Yeelight app has better features and automation controls for the light bulb.

These bulbs look just fine. The brights are just as bright as Lifx or Phillips Hue but they are cheap!If you just use a smart home app to control your lights/colors, I 1000% recommend these. If you do like to sit and mix and match colors and make scenes, I would say try to find a 3rd party app that allows you to do this or stick with Hue.

Not sure what all of the fuss is about. I bought these lights and have not had a single issue setting up. They are cool, reliable and bright. Attaching them to my Google Home Mini was a breeze, too. No issues at all.
