The size is perfect for the glove box or emergency backpack/supplies. All functions work well. The sound from the speaker is clear and has significant volume without distortion. Build quality is quite good. I fully charged the radio via USB and then used it to recharge a Galaxy S3 from 72% to full charge in under an hour and it still had some charge left. I am very satisfied and plan to purchase additional units.UPDATE 2/18/2018: I purchased another unit but it was defective. I emailed the seller, they replied and four days later a new replacement unit arrived. I call that 5 star service and will certainly do business with them in the future.

I am camping right now and the solar is not charging my phone. I hand crank it and it seems to hold the charge but not charge it. I tried the laptop same problem. Now I have tried 3 different cables and one just chimes non stop but is sucking the battery dry quicker. I bought one for my daughter for her 1st car. I am not at all re-assured. I just gave her a burden gift.. that gift that fails and beomes a hastle. The radio sucks but i knew it would so no. Flashlight is working on the solar charge so that is all Its good for a expensive crap flashlight. Great. Its a crapy p.o.s. don't waste time and money on it.

I purchased 2 of these as birthday gifts for my twin grandchildren. I went to gift wrap them today (birthday party tomorrow). They had never been used, and 3 months after purchasing them, one is DEAD. Now I can't give either. I can't find any warranty info, so assume there is none. I'm so disappointed - no gifts for my grandkids and no time to replace them. :-(((

Small enough to carry anywhere. Volume can be adjusted to a very loud setting (considering it is such a small device). Feels sturdy, well made. It did charge my iphone when the radio was crank charged. The sun charger does not seem to work or needs to be exposed to the sun for a very long time in order to charge. I would not leave the radio exposed to the sun for long periods, it might mess up the radio.

I keep this item radio , waiting the appropriate moment to use it, for some time. I even did not opened, and when I started using it , just last like a month working. I treated well, and suddenly stop working. It is useless and I want to return it, but the time already pass, they say. You need to put a bigger time to be able to return it , for this type of merchandise because it is not an item that you use every day . It is a different type of item.

Pls, do not buy this product. Total scam. Solar battery is useless,. It is not working at all.You have to work hard on handle, 200 turns provide 10 min radio. Ridiculous.Thought to use as a job site radio, Not a chance.I give one star just because they ask

Living in Memphis, TN we have more than our share of severe storms and power outages. Am so glad to find this product. I have charged it and set it on the local NOAA weather channel which comes in very clear. I also got a second one to give as a gift.

My son loves it. Don't think the solar part works.
