The Roald Dahl Treasury

The book arrived within the estimated arrival date, and was new, as promised!

I gave this as a gift to my husband who loves Roald Dahl. My only disappointment is that it gives only excerpts of some of the stories, though there are some complete ones in there. Still, it's full of great stories, both of which he's written and from his autobiography and life in general.

This book has stories for kids and adults alike; it has extracts from a lot of Roald Dahl's books and poems, including hilariously re-written fairy tales. I used to read it to my kids and they loved it. I still love it and give it to friends and family as gifts; try it, it is irresistable!!!

The book arrived as though it had never been opened. The cover was pristine as well. I gave it to my son, an English teacher, and he has already read some stories out of the book. The price was more than fair--shipping was more than the book:) Anyway, I definitely was pleased.

Item is in good repair, but I wish I had realized it's more a book ABOUT Dahl's work than a collection of it.

Bought this for my 9 year old .Who had already read his teachers copy twice .He loves it .Expensive, but, it is intended to be kept for his lifetime .We areboth hoping his 7 year ld sister will enjoy it to. Stories are quirky and fun mostly, while both memorable and endearing .

Excellent condition, much better than I expected!

All the classics in one place. The pictures dont hurt either. My son isn't old enough for this yet, but i know he will love it as much as we do!
