The product was great while it worked, it failed after a few months. So is now useless

really good for dentures and small jewelry but not enough space for your glasses if you try to use to clean it. Did some research for best cleaning liquids.It could be advised in instructions.

This tiny mains powered ultrasonic cleaner bath works quite well and is very neat. It is controlled by two proper touch sensitive keys, one each side of the LED 3 digit timer display window. The right key is for simple on/off. Touching the left key increases the timer setting in curiously spaced fixed steps…..000s90s180s280s380s480s (pulsing off/on mode only)The unit cannot safely operate any longer, so extended continuous cleaning sessions are not possible.The electronics in the base runs quite hot internally and with very little ventilation apertures. So if using it repeatedly, a long cool down period is essential between cleaning sessions. I’m confident it would overheat badly if this warning was grossly ignored.Whilst the construction and manufacturing finish seem good, and it is a pretty little unit. I do have some safety concerns (hence mediocre star rating). It came supplied with a UK style 13A 3 pin plug moulded plug lead. This was fitted with a wrong maximum rated 13A Fuse! That is completely wrong for this kind of product. Especially as the cable is only rated at an absolute maximum of 2.5A! So the fuse will not provide adequate fault protection for such a thin wire (and also the product only takes 30W anyway). I have replaced the plug fuse with a 1A rated fuse in my cleaner. This would fail any UK standard safety testing.Second concern is the use of a removable figure eight style power plug at the product end of the cable. This plug is located only a couple of inches down from the top edge of the water tank. It is very easy to accidentally spill water from the tank and it runs down into the 2 pin plug connection. These small twin pole unshuttered connectors are not even slightly water resistant. IMO this is potentially a shock risk.I will be happy enough using it as it is and I’ll just be aware of the obvious risk. However, I would not want to give it to anyone who is less tech savvy and maybe elderly. Products designed to be filled with water, should also be designed to be idiot proof and waterproof. IMHO, this product would have been very much safer if it was designed to supplied with a low voltage power adapter plug, so the unit would only have safe voltage present at the power lead end (say 12V? instead of full 230V as it is now).So yes it works and is neat and good value, but beware of the above please.

Present for Granny. Luckily its very simple as she finds it difficult to learn new things. She says it works fine.

Worked fine for one month then died. No way to return under guarantee. Total waste
