it was sunny and cold on the Oregon coast and I took my kids bundling myself with this. I then proceeded to wrap it around myself and be super cozy, sitting there and decided what if I lay down so I did and took a nap.. cocooned all snug-like while they played in the sand.

I got this as an add on cover for my 40 degree+ sleeping bag, and it has replaced that bag alone. All I need is this mini comforter and I'm good for the night hiking in deserts or back country trails. It is definitely going to save some weight in my pack verses caring my older mummy bag vs my 40+ bag and this blanket. I am able to add this and my other bag to a compression sack and make them both extreme compact.

Love it! Wam but light. I use it at night because it's so easy to get out of bed with it rather than a bigger blanket.

I love the heat this hold in, and how little it weighs. I personally can't sleep against the material so I pair it with a light cotton blanket to line the inside. One could probably push Temps a bit if they had to as it contains heat so well, and I think the ratings all these brands give are arbitrary.I would recommend this to the person that's carrying too much weight in their pack and needs a bedding upgrade. (It was me) or a good durable, zippable blanket for the outdoors.I forgot to mention.. the blanket doesn't feel like the stitching will fall apart or flimsy or anything. Solid enough to rely on for 5 day trips for years to come. If zippies comes out with a lined blanket I'm scooping asap
