O'Neal Sierra Helmet

Very nice helmet. Got it for my son to use on his ATV. Very comfortable and true to size. Will definitely buy one for myself when the time comes.

Helmet is snug at first. Like uncomfortably snug. I’m a few months in at this point and it fits absolutely perfectly, do not order a size up. It’s relatively light for the price and the built in visors are great, plus they still allow you to rock goggles if you fancy.The helmet looks cool and I have been a crash dummy, and I’m still alive so that’s a plus. Took a spill at about 20mph on a woods trail. Head hit super hard on dirt and rocks and I walked away with cracked ribs and a very mild concussion so I’d say she work's. Plus the helmet came out in one piece without even cracking the visor.Definitely worth the purchase. Would buy again.

Both me and my son wear this helmet when we ride our GX3 scooter that goes 40 mph. It’s comfortable, quiet, functional, and versatile.My son crashed going about 30 mph and the helmet held up very well. I pulled the helmet apart to inspect and make sure there was no serious defects after the crash that would need it to be replaced. All I found was just a few scrapes on the side of the helmet and visor where he made contact with the pavement.I typically wear a size large helmet, but decided to go with a XL because I have 9 piercings, 2 of which are 00g and 1 is an industrial so I need the extra space to comfortably slide my head in and out without irritating my ears. I also wear AirPod pros and the larger size accommodates nicely to keep them in place. Visors and padding are super easy to remove in order to thoroughly clean when needed.

I got an XL and it snug, my hat size is 7 5/8" and my cheeks get oressed pretty hard with or without a balaclava. I put a stretcher in to relieve some of the pressure and it helped some. I like the sun visor, it was an unexpected surprise that i didnt realize before ordering. The lens is really the main feature I was drawn to so I didn't have to wear goggles too. But the lens fogs up as soon as I start breathing heavier in rough terrain or out the kid down when its warm. I'll be getting some anti-fog sokuti9n to see if it helps.Otherwise the Helmet is great, it's soft and comfortable inside and the mouthpc works as an adjustable vent, but still doesn't dear out the fog.Over all I give it 4 out of 6, keeping it a ½ size to smalll is my choice. In hindsight, I'd have gotten an XXL but I'm good with this XL

I don’t have anything bad to say about this helmet. I read some other reviews about sizing. Just make sure that you buy one size bigger than what you normally wear. I followed that advice and the helmet fits great. The helmet fits snug without feeling like the padding is scrunching your face. The helmet is super light weight and it has a sleek design just like the pictures. I saw some reviews where the built in tinted shades were difficult to function. They were not, the slider that brings them over your eyes works great and provides great protection from the sun. Best helmet I’ve ever owned for this value.

I got the XL size based on the chart and my head mesured almost 61 so it fits very well (tight that is supoused to be) it feels a great material and very light.

Nice helmet design, but the one I received had a broken flip down visor mechanism and fit was smaller than expected. Had to return.

Love my helmet it works so good and is very comfortable price was great too. Can wear my glasses in it which is great so I can see while I ride.
