Battery Replacement for Apple Watch Series 4 40mm A2058 A1975 A1977 Standard Capacity Battery Include Complete Repair Tools kit

I wanted to change out the battery on an Apple Watch Series 4, 40mm and took a chance and randomly ordered this kit. I got the watch apart after using a hair dryer to soften the adhesive. Gently pried the old battery to access the plug and bracket. I needed to remove one screw from the bracket holding the old battery. The kit does *not* include a Y Wing Screwdriver. This is necessary to do this installation. Luckily I had one from another repair kit. I finally got the old battery off. Plugged in the replacement and put everything together. Completely dead. Removed the new battery and put the original OEM back in. Apple Watch booted back up normally. Soooooo.. unless I'm missing something, the battery I got is defective out of the box. It didn't even charge. I thought I was going crazy. I can not recommend.

Do not recommend it for anyone who has not done it before but if you know what you’re doing it is worth it

Unfortunately, after 2 hours labor, the battery does not hold charge at all: charging to 100% only last shortly several hours. The battery charge lasts even less than the original battery of after 6-year usage.

It works perfectly

Does NOT work. I replaced the original battery because it would not hold a charge for more than 20 hours not even using the watch. This replacement battery is not holding a charge past 15 hours not even using the watch. I am not going to take the watch apart again to return it. PLEASE REIMBURSE ME. These are bad batteries.

My Subaru Baja is 21 years old. Took some time to get things loosened up. Installation was not that bad.
