Spear & Jackson 3540BT Neverbend Professional Dutch Hoe

It's a good hoe, once the blade has been sharpened. It very good for a tall person like me, and reduces the strain on my back. The only thing it is so good on perennial weeds, but is really good on shallow weeds like chickweed.

The blade doesn't seem to be as sharp as I would like. It's excellent for an elderly person with slightly precarious balance as the very long handle enables you to reach weeds in a distant part of the bed without the risk of knocking or squashing plants. However, while it deals with light weds such as chickweed and very young weeds, it won't deal with the thugs.

All is perfect for the job it was designed for

Strong well made hoe but be prepared to have to grind down the blade to create an edge or else you'll find hoeing very hard work ..!! Also it's perhaps a bit over long and a touch heavy.
