All Purpose Door Bell

Super cute for our old house with a very loud 'vintage' buzzer sound. It's exactly what you would expect for 12 bucks. Simple and works. Absolutely nothing fancy about this. I love it. I just replaced our old chime from the 80's. We have original 100 year old wiring. I detached the wires and connected them to this one and with two mounting screws, good to go. That may not be everyone else's experience or set up. Ours was that easy. I will more than likely tape off the insides and give this a 'oil rubbed bronze' coat of spray paint to have it blend in better with OG hardware. Don't be afraid to take the cover off with a #1 flathead/slotted screwdriver. It's not gonna break on you. Instructions are terrible so take advantage of the few videos on here. If you have an existing door bell, this may be as easy as it was for me to swap out. Good luck!

It's a bell and it rings like a bell. Metal construction feels solid and installation was easy. Size is smaller than your average contractor-grade chime box. Exactly what I needed and nothing more. Works perfectly wired to my Eufy E340 via the original transformer.

Low voltage Bell, was exactly what I wanted... For my particular use, I just wanted to use a simple noise, to send, strays away, from my lawn, rather than going to the door, to shout at them. I'd prefer not to have my yard, become an outhouse for the neighborhood strays, or someone's pooch, which the figure out (incorrectly) is entitled to use anyone's property's as a their pet's toilet. Easily wired project. And price point was just right for the simple little noise maker. I'll likely put a infrared sensor, to set it off, without any necessity to observe anything. I'm not without kindness for the neighborhood animals ... However I didn't intend for my property, to be noted, as that place you have to hold your nose shut 🤭, just to walk by.

As described. Sounds like an apartment buzz in ringer. Not really loud but suitable. Works with the ring doorbell and standard 16v transformer. Mounted on the existing chime housing that stopped working. Used jumper wires with spades. Easy 5 minute job. If it was louder I would of gave 5 stars. But it's compact and doesn't stand out.

It stopped working within 3 months because the contacts stopped ringing. Because it is a one of a kind style I am ordering another one and hoping for better results.

This "old fashioned" doorbell chime is louder and therefore easier to hear than Amazon's chime that is described as "loudest." Therefore I suggest it for use for people who are hard of hearing.

Controlled with my Arduino and powered with 5Vdc , my son is starting homeschooling online with live classes, got this for a "school bell" as it would be, but also connected to my ring doorbell via IFTTT and MQTT and my standard doorbell button (through the Arduino so I can still get an alert).

I am hearing impaired, the bell is not loud enough.

Difficult to connect

Easy to install, loud enough to hear , finally got rid of that stupid ding-dong sound ! That sound you hear on TV and you don't know if it was at your door !

My tennants complained they couldn't hear their doorbell.. with these.. problem solved. EVERYBODY HEARS IT NOW ! Good product!

A little smaller than I was hoping. Not nearly as loud as I needed. But works very well. This is in place in a commercial warehouse. So very open. Would be more than loud enough in a smaller room.
