Great product!
It was packed very well. The directions for assembly were clear. The cross-trainer works great!

High quality, sturdy, smooth motion, quiet. Well worth the $!
I just put this together today. LOVE IT. Packaged extremely well, incredibly sturdy with perfectly machined heavy-duty parts. Very easy to put together. I have neuropathy in my hands but was able to fairly easily assemble this myself (I’m a mildly “handy” woman in case anyone is wondering) though it probably took me a little longer than average. The instructions are some of the best I’ve ever seen, so clear and easy to follow. Screws, bolts and washers all neatly se parated into small plastic bags for each stage of the assembly, no missing parts. After assembly I tried it out, and it is everything I wanted. This is a high quality, very sturdy machine, and beyond well worth the price. If you are worried about the quality because it’s only $750 and all the other machines like this are thousands of dollars, don’t be. I have pain and numbness in my hands and feet, and this machine is perfect. Big wide pedals so I don’t have to worry about my feet slipping off, easy to grip handles, very smooth motion and whisper quiet - it barely makes any noise at all. I was very impressed; in all ways it is better than I expected and more than I could hope for. If I had anything to complain about it would be that the seat bottom is a bit small for my bottom, but it still seemed comfortable when using the machine. I tried all the different positions (very easy to adjust the seat back angle, seat height and the many different arm handle positions) and it really seems like this recumbent elliptical hybrid can do it all. Also the place for my iPad is perfect, grips it nicely. I have A LOT of medical problems that make exercising difficult but I am looking forward to using this piece of equipment, and I can’t say enough good things about it. I thought buying one of these online was a bit risky (because what if after assembly I didn’t like it and had to return it?) but finding a store that has a few true hybrid ellipticals that are recumbent to select from and try out was not happening in central North Carolina. This machine exceeded my expectations and I urge those of you thinking about it to be comfortable choosing this one.

Excellent quality & workout, quiet, if physically limited may need help initially getting on and off
Overall, excellent piece of equipment (if not too restricted in movement/not too overweight), provides a very good adjustable intensity workout and range of motion, is easier on the joints then most equipment of this type. Overall an excellent piece of equipment that provides a very good adjustable intensity workout and range of motion and is easier on the joints then most equipment of this type. However, IMO, a design flaw that needs to be improved. If you are limited in motion, a senior? with joint paint and or too overweight you might need help getting on and off of this machine without worry that you might slip/fall on mount or dismount; (providing a simple T-Bar behind and above the seat would also help provide a better hand hold). If, IMO teeter could somehow reduce the height of the bars that you have to step over so that you could easily lift your leg up and over to/from the pedals to more easily mount/dismount and lower the seat level so a shorter person could mount/dismount easier than I would improve the rating to a 5 star. For most people who are not physically challenged then because of the way the pedals move up and down as opposed to a bike like circular motion, then this machine is much easier on the knees/hips etc. Also if you raise and put your feet up (as the video shows) you can get an excellent upper body workout while resting the legs and provides variety while giving a really good workout to your arms/shoulders. The seat levels are adjustable for taller people and overall if you are Not too physically disabled/challenged this is an excellent piece of equipment that with some modification by the mfgr could be great for almost everyone. Note: we bought a wider separate padded seat cushion to put over the seat provided that also helps. Suggest that mfgr widen the seat, but again for most people in my opinion, it is high quality constructed and provides a really good exercise/conditioning workout, is quiet and time flies on it when watching TV.

Great machine
This was simple to put together and super easy directions from the book. I got it done about 2- 2 1/2 hours but that’s due to having issues with the elbow guard nothing from the company at all. I had to use my own tool for that and to squeeze the guard together. Got on the machine and walla working out at home for the first time in 40 yrs of going to a gym. It’s about time I did this and this machine is what’s needed for my knee issue. I used an expensive one for knee rehab. So glad I finally leaped and got this. Now since I went to the gym I got the dial dumbbells and workout dvds. I highly recommend this machine. If I would have thought it more through I would have gotten the one with 21 levels all because it would be more challenging. Just saying for those whom workout that level 13 is quite easy for me (now I didn’t go for 30 minutes either. I started with level 1 and working through all levels). But if you are starting out, I will say this if you can afford to get the 21 levels than buy such. If you can’t afford the higher end one than get what you can afford. You won’t be disappointed at all. Any workout is a great way to stay flexible and be able to move about when you get older.

We debated in the FreeStep for months and finally decided to buy it. We couldn't be happier! It's a great all over body workout and we feel so good after we've worked out. We've had other cardio machines and weren't happy with them, but we couldn't be happier with our FreeStep. We want to workout and we enjoy our workouts which is half the battle! Highly recommended!
