Purchased for a pair of older cats who have a hard time picking up food. The raised and slightly tilted design allows them to eat more naturally. It comes with 2 bowels, 1 shallower food bowl and one deeper for food or water. You can also use just the plastic part for water or food as well I suppose. I saw a picture where someone put warm water in there to warm wet food. The bowl inserts appear to be stainless steel and are easy to pull out and clean. For the price, this is a really good deal. I would by again.

The design is brilliant! Easy to keep the food warm during colder days. It’s lightweight but sturdy. And with the angle it makes it easier for the cats to eat. I’ve noticed that my exotic shorthair eats wet food a lot more faster with this bowl.It comes with two bowls that you can choose as well. Highly recommend!

I have been needing to upgrade our cat bowls for some time now and these were pretty perfect. I have three cats. One is super food motivated and a bully so we feed him apart from the other two with a puzzle bowl to try and slow him down. But the other two eat together and one is a senior cat with whisker sensitivity and I have been wanting to get him an elevated, tilted bowl like this to lessen the strain on his neck. I like that these came with two bowl options and that you can put hot water under the bowls to warm them up since this was something I was already doing in a separate step. I LOVE the fact that the bowls are microwave and dishwasher safe. I took off one star because these are definitely slippery on the bottom and will slide around on hard wood so I had to get a separate rubber mat to put under them but they are great otherwise!

These stainless pet bowls and plastic stand with the anti-ant moat work perfectly. I have two outdoor rescue kitties that use them. This set is really good value as it comes with the sturdy plastic stand, as well as both a shallow and a deeper stainless bowl. The cats love using them. The set does what it is supposed to as far as keeping pesky, determined ants away from the food. So far the ants haven't figured out how to cross the moat with the water in it. Smile. The only challenge is in the heat of Oklahoma summers, I have to check the moat occasionally to make sure it doesn't go dry. Now if I could just figure out a way to keep the flies away! I highly recommend this bowl set.

My cat was throwing up a lot which hadn’t been fun for either of us. I was told to buy a bowl that tilts and it will help with that. This bowl has been a lifesaver no more throwing up!

I like the cat bowl because it’s elevated, stainless steel, and ant proof. Would buy again.

I often just leave the food bowl on a mat while using the deeper one in the holder for water. Great option for their food if you have a clean eater, a cat that doesn't drop food everywhere around the bowl, and need an ant water mote.

The plastic rim is supposed to catch food splatter. It's too small to do that. However, it works great as an ant moat. Just add a little soap and water. No more ants in the cat food. Exactly what I bought it for.

Couldn't fault the product but the seller I would not recommend
