Kraven’s last hunt is a story that everyone should read, only taking a star off because it came a bit damaged and had a sticker on the back of it

Have you ever wondered what would happened if a super-villain was truly victorious over a super-hero? Are you wondering why in the world Spider-man looks like he's been buried alive on the cover? Then this story is worth wild to check out.The story is brilliantly written by Dematteis, beautifully drawn by Mike Zeck, and without a doubt one of the best Spider-man stories of all time. This graphic novel comes at a very reasonable price and collects all six issues of several Spider-man series from the 80's, each issue separately are pretty hard to come by in the present day. The only negative thing about this novel is the paper material just felt very cheap.

The story is spider-man at its best, and honestly my favorite serious spider-man comic as apposed to some of the fun goofy stuff out there. the way the characters are written and think two or three things at once back and forth feels like such realistic dynamic internal dialog compared to the generic slosh you generally get. a good way to explain it is in most comics thoughts seem like broad statements on what someone is doing, here people think something and try to push the thoughts away with something else but they cant escape the thoughts nagging them. its just so well done and I think thats why people feel kraven is such a cool character in this because he feels so real! the story also gets compared to batman comics a lot but to me its a lot more like watchmen with all the symbolism involved in the panels.

I LOVED THIS BOOK! I got it at the recommendation of a friend and am I glad I listended. The story really isn't about Peter so much. Its really almost all about Kraven, and the lengths he'll go to to prove that he is the superior to Spiderman. He's always seen Spidey as an elusive prey, as the one creature that taunted him and beat him. But what happens when Kraven realizes that behind that mask and web shooters and powers, that Peter was just a regular nerd who got tapped on the shoulder by fate? That the one man who always beat him, was just that; a man.In short, the story is awesome. The whole of it takes place at night and in the rain, but it is a solid read. All the parts with Kraven had chills sent down my spine and just kept me wanting to read more. At the end, you even feel sad for Kraven, but even also a bit of respect for him, as he finally accomplished what he always wanted. To be the best hunter ever

Now I heard a rumor that Kraven the Hunter might be the villain in the third Spider-Man film. If Marvel Studios ever gonna do a third Spider-Man film with Kraven as the villain, then it should based on this story because this is the darkest '80s comic book story arc since "Daredevil: Born Again". It starts with Kraven defeats Spider-Man and then drugged him with a tranquilizer dart. Kraven buries Spidey alive and then wear Spider-Man's costume to fight crime. Luckily, Spider-Man rose out of his grave and went after Kraven. Shocking climax of Kraven kills himself with a rifle. However, the story ends when Spider-Man defeats a villain known as Vermin.Great graphic novel. I hope the third Spider-Man film will be based on the "Kraven's Last Hunt" story arc.
